Is a dump pile rocks such as quartz left from where people mined before? Im looking foward to learning gold panning this spring but I want to crush rocks and pan too. 🙂

Good results. Blessings. I hear there is in some of that rock 17 ounce per ton. Keep going.

That was amazing! I’ve crushed lots of rocks and I mean a lot of rock’s and never found any gold yet. Lol. Congratulations on the awesome test!

If you are in the area I’m thinking you’re in there are sulfides in the area! I’ve seen them being leeched out of the surrounding rock and being highly concentrated where the rock type changes. That stuff back there is very buggy highly mineralized, wouldn’t wanna stay in there too long though because of the hydrogen sulfide gas

good job sonny Jim….thats how you do it ….now just get ya a pocket mill ( The Mighty Mill ) to make field sampling easier …. or better yet a small Jaw Crusher with Impact mill because it looks like you are on a winner …also a 10x Jewelers loupe for inspection…. now find the source of that float and go to town …… theres nothing like seeing Lode Gold in the pan ….you have the fever now my friend….. let us know if you need any links to a good fire assay company or small Jaw crushers …we know of a few sources…..and as always we samshed that like button ….smashed it Hard !!!!

Very impressive. I plan on doing this soon on our lot. I need to get a little hand crusher like that. Does anyone know where I can get one? My dad welds should I just ask him to make me one? Also a good tip for you on the rocks that contain the most gold in this area are the ones with black all over them. They are black sulfides. Seems to have the most gold. Also the smokier looking quartz I’ve found visible gold on the rocks. Good video!

Excellent, thanks. That’s a perfect example of what I have been trying to explain to my son & some of my friends on why I itchin’ to get back in the woods.🇺🇸⛏️💰..Cheers to your Welder buddy 🍻

I started crushing up in a coffee grinder all the crushed ore from a Crisson gallon paydirt minus the gold u already panned out. I need a second coffee grinder bc the small buts of mica and crushed ore etc chewed up the blades already on the first half of the gallon.

  16. @silvaorgold on July 7, 2024 at 3:06 pm

Juice them rocks the reder the better

  17. @IrishAndy001 on July 7, 2024 at 3:08 pm

Now that was very interesting the quartz looked quite ordinary but the gold that came from it is savage I’m going to have to start crushing quotes. Wicked stuff Aaron.

  18. @moejoe4070 on July 7, 2024 at 3:08 pm

Good job I’m in west Georgia myself, I’ve found a few lodes that I still get samples from.

  20. @craigh27 on July 7, 2024 at 3:11 pm

I’ve been up through those surrounding areas collecting samples over the years. I’ve found some REALLY high grade ore laying right on top of the ground. I put a large sandbag in a backpack to carry the ore samples in. I also bought a Cobra crusher to crush the ore into powder. I’ve found the dirtier/uglier the quartz, the more gold it contains,

  21. @GSProspecting on July 7, 2024 at 3:12 pm

I always have a blast coming by. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream fam. Gold Squad Out!!!

  24. @covanfamilyadventures1890 on July 7, 2024 at 3:15 pm

Need your help sir! I went to north Georgia and used my sluice and have plenty of black sand but I am confused at what I’m finding. It’s a gold color but when you press it it flakes apart. Very hard to identify gold. See my video https://youtu.be/IBuwuqcrOlE

  25. @briandutcher5055 on July 7, 2024 at 3:16 pm

I’m surprised you don’t carry a loop with you out in the wilderness. I have some excellent specimens I grabbed white in your neighborhood.

  26. @landontakeamericaback2106 on July 7, 2024 at 3:16 pm

Wheres your jewelers loop???Get one! This way your not carrying worthless rocks.

  29. @jeannewhitaker1950 on July 7, 2024 at 3:23 pm

I own a property uphill from the original Little River deposits. 20 acres of ugly quartz. Come on out!

  30. @ericbest9562 on July 7, 2024 at 3:25 pm

I just found you tonight, I’m in central Georgia and a Amateur prospector also, the only thing I’ve ever bought is some gold pan’s, I make or repurpose everything else, from suckers to classifiers. In the dozen or so times I’ve been out planning over the years I’ve probably found a gram total but it’s never been where the experts would look, a lot of it came from the road side ditch Infront of my old house! There’s a quartz vein that ran through the property and the ditch exposed a bunch of it which ran down the hill to a creek. I love what you are doing because it’s exactly what I do! I just drive and find out of the way places that look good to me and out of the public eye and then I start looking for bedrock.

  31. @detr0it442 on July 7, 2024 at 3:28 pm

I have some areas in my front yard that look like dump piles. I’m next to Owl creek.

  32. @MrHeartspeed on July 7, 2024 at 3:28 pm

Aye boy! I think I know where you’re at!

  33. @soggybottomgoldprospecting3586 on July 7, 2024 at 3:29 pm

Super cool. I am going to try this looking for ore like that in Nc and see what happens. That was a really nice pan. Thank you for another ore video

  34. @freddking4389 on July 7, 2024 at 3:30 pm

That is definitely some good gold for that small crush. Nice!

  35. @jeffdevine6387 on July 7, 2024 at 3:30 pm

that amount of fine gold means crush finer and pan slow, or a miller table if you end up with quantity

  36. @a3skywarrior929 on July 7, 2024 at 3:33 pm

Very interesting…Indiana found gold in conglomerate rock and some iron and quartz

  37. @micahmann6967 on July 7, 2024 at 3:37 pm

Love the video just like the rest! This one really captivated me, ive found some really good ore specimens in creeks in my area and am curious if you ever sent any off to assay. Ive found that just classifying down the material will make it richer. All of the fishers or voids tend to be released much easier than the micros in the quartz. Best stuff ive found has calculated out to about an ounce a ton but the issue is that it was just a creek tumbled quartz cobble lol. Itll take some time to trace back if im even able to, but it’d pay off. Keep it up! Heavy pans brother im in upstate sc and would love to chat with you sometime.

  38. @williamdykstra1857 on July 7, 2024 at 3:37 pm

You got a lot of gold out of that small sample of ore, nice work!

One of these days you need to make the trip up here to Tennessee. Coker Creek to be exact. I can show you some places.

  41. @MysticRiverRC on July 7, 2024 at 3:42 pm

Awesome! I’m currently doing a bag of Home Depot sand, and it comes from a Georgia company. Only one spec in the 1/8" stuff so far. But I did find a pebble of quartz that showed minerals. Under a 30X loupe I spotted a spec of gold in one of the voids. So yeah, there’s gold in Georgia rocks!

  42. @NeboGold on July 7, 2024 at 3:44 pm

    Nice finds!

  43. @shenellLMI3090 on July 7, 2024 at 3:45 pm

I live in the Augusta area, I rock hound always go back and forth with wanting to collect and wanting to smash them to get the gold out. I have so many gold deposited rocks and quartz, little spots I have found to have blue clay, igneous rocks with like volcanic areas.. watching this video makes me want to jump into panning so fast. I’m so excited thinking about this now. Are you familiar that basalt and types of granite holds a decent amount of gold? This was pretty inspirational. I might be moving soon and need to rock dump though, maybe awhile before I get to this step, but I sure do collect.

  44. @scrapyardprospecting3855 on July 7, 2024 at 3:46 pm

Ok def wanna go find that kind of stuff. I made a finish crusher you should check out runs off a drill. Cheap to build and is wicked good to make fines with.
