Did Jesse James have unknown son in Devil's Nest Nebraska?
The story as it is told about Jesse James and his brother Frank and their stay in Devil’s Nest, Nebraska abt 1869 while on the run for the law. They supposedly each had a child with Santee Sioux girls. Some people very close to the situation told the story in the mid 1900’s. Story is very interesting and some fact do surround the events.

At first I had always thought that Pat Garrett killed Billy the Kid, After all that’s what officers want you to think.
I can only follow my conscience.
Pat & Billy knew each other well, but became on opposite sides and hunting each other down.
Pat Garrett also had a reputation, and not a good one,
Although was a clever man to be a leader [ Sheriff ].
I believe he mad a mistake by killing the wrong man and then turned it into a win win situation. If he had found Billy the Kid he would have killed him but now he had to cover his ass,
Claiming Billy the Kid was dead and ready to claim his $500 reward.
Billy, on the other hand, couldn’t come out and say Pat killed the wrong man because he would be caught. And I’m sure by now he was tired of running, All he had to do now was disappear, and that he did.
I’m sure he was feeling better with the monkey off his back. And that was his second chance in life
I am from Saint Joseph Mo, and just about everyone in St Joe claims to be a descendant of his. LOL!
