What I don’t get about the last story is it’s all over the place. People’s valley is not even in the direction of Tres Almos Spring. It’s literally in the other direction and back to wickenberg. Even though I found the deep canyon that’s actually lower than the valley floor. Where the black rock is exposed low because of earthquake and this valley was a lake at one point millions of years ago. The black rock is from deep in the earth exposed due to volcanic activity. All black rocks are associated with volcanic activity in every story. Just like red colored rocks are associated with iron. This canyon is a gigantic crack in the earth from being a fault line
