East Texas Treasure hunt / picking
East Texas Treasure hunt / picking
We went on a creepy adventure this evening in Alto Texas…stumbled upon numerous old abandoned houses and a store in the woods and a creepy old abandoned church. We did wind up finding a few treasures along the way as well as some interesting ghost radar peaks!
Not too far from where my people live.
How did that striker plate polish up?
Junk!
So, do you think it would be OK to dismantle the building and reclaim the wood for a project you have, without permission?
You people make me sick! I am an urban explorer, that takes photos of abandonment. What gives you the right to steal from what is meant to be that states treasures. So what if you are going to love it, you are destroying what it was once. Why could of you just take photos like the rest of us. That’s what a smart person would do. If you came to my part of Texas and shot a video of you stealing, alot of our local urban explorer will be pissed off.
Thieves…teaching your kids it okay to steal…stealing from a church great family fun
Привет с Украины. Лайк. Очень люблю историю, ваше видео очень понравилось. Подписываюсь. С праздниками вас, здоровья , удачи.
This was the first video I saw of you all’s Rich !
We’re about I’m in Longview..what town you find just curious cool video I ran up on ya
That’s in Alto Texas
Cool picks! Love the old knobs and plates! Keith
Watch out for armadillos man. Awesome find.
that would be funny if these folk who are going around the country side looting goods from other peoples unattended properties would return to their house to find that their home had been cleared out of their valuables , it would be like karma in your face bitches
That stuff could collapse further and some of you could get hurt..
You should not take what is not yours unless you ask the land owner. Urban explorers make that a rule of thumb.
As you moved around filming, did you hear a really loud pop/bang at some point? That was the sound of your camera breaking the sound barrier. Can’t see much of anything.
Shame on you. You are the reason people don’t trust explorers and metal detectorists. Damaging property and stealing. Worse yet, you are teaching your kids that this is acceptable behavior.
Another day training Pookie and Ray Ray jr. on the art of stealing.
I like these videos. and this was a good one the only thing i didn’t like is that you move the camera to fast and it’s hard to take in what you are showing us.
That’s not a striker plate, it’s a passage set plate.
Criminal trespassing and burglary.
When I was a kid in the late 60s, we used to do this all through-out Arkansas. It was a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t do it today, myself.
Ummm whose property is that? Yours?
ok for those comments I guess I am a thief too so what’s your point… I do it cause its better off being loved then be left on the earth to sit and pollute it more some of the stuff doesn’t break down so if you can find a new use for it its better for the earth. I lived in the old out back where there were houses in over grown bushes that were left rotting and abandoned I looked no one had been there since 1929. it was sad to see those nice things go to waste it was planted so far back into the bush you couldn’t see it from any buildings no roads smack dab in the middle of nowhere in the forest I took everything that could be reused and sold it to a museum its not stealing they don’t want it or they would have came and got it before the house was ripped down. before any of you open your clap trap about how wrong it is maybe you should stop and think about how mentally sound you are by calling each other names or harassing these lovely people you want to act adult ok go ahead say that its wrong but acting the way you are acting about it is not adult nor is it socially acceptable keep to your own business. have nothing nice to say keep it to yourself
What did she find at the end there? A watch?
what town is this??
omg I know who’s property that is and who u r, your so busted!
GOOD HUNT ENJOYED GL&HH
WoW your ears are crazy lmao.
Shitty video. Ive got motion sickness trying to watch.
Teach kids to trespass and steal.
It doesn’t belong to them. They should contact the land owner and ask. It doesn’t matter if you don’t think anyone cares, it’s still stealing.
If a house is in good well kept shape then stuff should be left alone. But if they are literally falling apart and clearly abandoned then take whatever is there i say.
To alter and/or remove any property which belongs to someone else is called vandalism and/or theft.
"Abandoned" houses are owned, either by people, companies, or municipalities. They may be forgotten or ignored, but they are still owned-they are still private property. No one has the right to decide what happens to the contents except the owners.
It was incredibly disturbing to watch the doors being hacked at and destroyed with the machete in order to obtain the hardware. It was blatant vandalism and theft at its graphic worst.
I chose to stop watching the video after that.
These people’s neighbors better be careful how long they leave cars or bicycles unattended or yard equipment outside or else they may find things disappearing, seeing as their property might be deemed "abandoned" and "unwanted" and be taken as "treasure."
It looked like there was some writing in the concrete just inside of the entry to the house.
Excellent! I love that you saved a few things.
Uhh, it’s true, you might want to take this down. Unless you had permission to pick on the property you could find yourself in trouble. Especially since you took pictures of yourself doing it.
Where was this exactly?
What concerns me more than taking stuff from a fallin apart run down dilapidated shake that obvious no one cares about is the potential for snakes especially with kids digging around under stuff you never know whats in there
trespassers! don’t get caught
I think that most of these people are jealous. i dont know if you have gotten permission. and what happened to reperposing. anyway, maybe you shouldn’t show your family. maybe film stuff talk about it, and after reperpose items. and slow down with the camera panning.
I doubt if I would go clamoring around on those rotten floors and always worry about open or rotted tops of old well, but sure would love to be photographing those old buildings. Thats my thing
Wow this Church has been in my family a long time, and to think someone would go onto private property and steal items that do not belong to you is horrible.
Shouldve taken the houses. About a hundred dollars worth of firewood there.
"Treasure hunters" stole the mantelpiece off the farmhouse on the old Abel Rhodes farm in Shelby County, Texas, on the M. Carr survey. someone else stole the interior wall between the kitchen and the dining room because it was made out of virgin pine. After that, my father nailed the gate up where no one could drive in anymore, since he no longer kept bees there.
These guys have a lot in common with illegal aliens. If there are no armed guards on the property line, in they go.
I like these videos. and this was a good one the only thing i didn’t like is that you move the camera to fast and it’s hard to take in what you are showing us.
What was carved into the cement floor threshold of the building with the ratty chair?
its called "saving things from destruction" – because- you know – its just SO MUCH better if those places just get burnt down by kids partying – or merely fall down and rot – so kudos to you – and disregard the naysayers!
you should at least be honest and ask the owner if you can have the stuff,,,but oh well,,,,lol,,,no big deal.
that building were the couch is used to be the local bbq place to eat. It’s near a cemetery, a church, a sawmill, a community center and the Smith Quarters.
