We check into the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort for the next 8 nights. In this video we will show you our first couple of days on the west side of the island.
At the resort we swim with the dolphins and attend a luau. Outside of the resort we head south of Kona to snorkel at Two-Step and visit the Pu’uhanau O Hanaunau National Historic Park.
For the rest of the day we walk through Kona. We have appetizers and desert at Huggo’s, beers at Humpy’s and check out the historic area of town showing the Moluaikua Church and Hulihe’e Palace.
Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort is a luxury resort located on the Big Island of Hawaii in the United States. The resort is situated on 62 oceanfront acres and offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Kohala Mountains.
The resort features a variety of accommodations, including guest rooms, suites, and private bungalows. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary Hawaiian style and are equipped with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, and mini-fridges.

Dolphin Quest Big Island is a unique interactive dolphin experience located at the Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort on the west coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. Dolphin Quest offers visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in a variety of ways.
Two Step is a popular snorkeling spot located at Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park on the west coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. The name “Two Step” refers to the two natural stone steps that provide easy access to the water.
Snorkeling at Two Step is a popular activity because of the abundance of marine life in the area, including colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and even the occasional dolphin or whale. The water is crystal clear, and the area is protected from strong currents and waves, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling.
Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, also known as the Place of Refuge, is a sacred site on the west coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. The park preserves a significant cultural and historical landscape that was once a sanctuary for ancient Hawaiians who had broken kapu (taboo) laws.
Visitors can participate in ranger-led tours, cultural demonstrations, and self-guided tours to learn more about the park’s history and culture. The park also offers opportunities for hiking, swimming, and snorkeling.

Your Hawaii trip is just incredible! The view with the dolphins is magical, it looks like the upgrade was a good decision.
