This massive mica mine operated primarily in the 1800s, however in the decades to follow it was purchased by General Electric and used to extract minerals such as quartz and feldspar.

    I have found some mica mines inbthe hills of groton NH…Palermo mines were about 10 miles away. And also lisbon private old gold mines !!!!
