It’s a Zoroastrian Asopharer pendant. My husband is Zoroastrian. Most likely gold from India.

That is awesome. If it’s got the weight and the right color, it’s got to be real. Congratulations. Did it show up on the VDI at 12-14? Very nice. It amazes me how many people wear their expensive jewelry to the beach. Happy Hunts. _/👍

Lol. You guys are such nubes. It’s really cute. It was hard to see but I’m sure you got a "look" when you told him you didn’t have the camera on. Don’t sweat it, we have all had great finds that didn’t end up on video. It’s what makes filming as challenging as detecting. You’ll get better at both. It’s just a matter of learning how to swing, find, dig, and repeat as many times as possible. Here’s my tip: take a scoop, pull it far enough away so you can check the hole again with the detector. If it’s still in the hole, dump it and take another scoop. Repeat until you are sure the target is in your scoop. With practice, finding a target shouldn’t take more than 30 seconds & then you’re off to the next one. Congrats on your first gold. If that’s about 7 grams, it’s worth about $300 at current rates.

Womder if there’s any way to know how old it is.
It’s dated IMO. Not all the newer designs people wear.
    Again just my opinion tho.
