Hi, Britain. Glad to see another of your Alaska trip vids. Steve was right about the 3rd gold rush as there are a few reality TV shows about dredging in the Bering Sea. While watching you on the dredge, I couldn’t help but wonder how you keep the larger material out of the pipe plus what is ok to allow through. I remembered that Steve wears a rather chunky gold ring. Are you able to confirm whether or not it was made entirely from gold he’d recovered from his claim/s? Thanks for sharing. Another spectacular adventure in Alaska. Thanks for showing us the beauty of the land. The trickling water through the rocks looked so clear and clean. Maybe it’s not so good to drink with the iron pieces laying about the area, but it made me feel thirsty just looking at it. I didn’t realize gold could be mixed with quartz. If one would break open a quartz rock mixed with other rock elements, would there be a chance to find gold inside? That seems far fetched, since most of the gold is found in the streams, right? Thank you for another amazing video, Brit!!!

I’ve never connected scuba-ing and gold mining, but it makes total sense, and I can see why someone would ask you to come up and help them dredge the deeper waters of their claim. And I’m so jealous you got to spend quality time in Alaska, a place I’ve always wanted to see.

Nothing for miles and miles. How often does Steve confront bears etc…? I don’t think I could walk that trail alone, without worrying about the wildlife.

They don’t have scrape yards there ? Y’all could pick up all the matal and cash it in to get him some money and help clean it up

I still can’t get over how beautiful, and isolated that entire area is. I stop and think about how we are actually living on top of one another here, knowing that all the space there is empty. It blows my mind. I am so glad you had a great time in Alaska.
