You can use a cheap 200$ metal detector too locate the heavy black sand area’s and the drop out boundary lines as it saves you at least a hour Worth of back breaking rock tossing and digging , hopefully that tip helps you, awesome time on the river, wishing you heavy pan’s full of that Au✌️

The gold would have dropped out closer the beginning of the flow, rather than farther back toward the end, don’t you think?

  17. Scrotex on October 27, 2022 at 12:05 pm

Great video!!!! Thank you for sharing how to properly pan for gold!!!! I’ve really been in to the Discovery Channel gold shows for many many years. My good friend Wendell used to work with Tony Beets up in the Yukon and make gold dredge equipment for the Beets crew. He’s been on multiple episodes of Gold Rush. But I’ve always wondered the steps involved with properly panning. So thanks for sharing this video!! I’m actually considering giving Western Washington gold propecting a shot!!

Exit 38 off i90, excellent access spots to the Snoqualmi river and full of sand banks with visible placer gold on the surface, great place to pan for fun and for bridge jumping.

  33. Arctic Miner on October 27, 2022 at 12:31 pm

If you see big foot 🦶🏼 let me know. Don’t confuse them with fat girls taking a bath in the river. 🤭
