Every time I hear Alaska Land I think Pioneer Park. That ‘equipment’ that is back there now was back there then. It may have been moved around a little bit but it was there back then. What a great idea! A water melon eating contest. Virtually all the old bridges that were there then are there now. Just a fresh coat of paint. Love to see the Train when ever it runs. Its a welcome distraction during the summer months.
Hi Bears 🐻🐻🐻 Happy Weekend! I wonder how many of those poor kids had tummy aches but they looked like they were having fun while they were eating. We were hoping you all would find the pot of gold. Looking forward to seeing more of the Golden Days. Enjoy your weekend. 💜💜🎉🎉🐶🐶🐾🐾
Looked like a fun time. Those pie and watermelon eating kids did a good job. Looks like the smoke has cleared. We have it bad here. Probably for a few more weeks. Canada, pnw, California all that smoke comes here. Between the heat and the smoke we just stay in. Last 2 weeks of July and first 2 weeks of August are miserable. Rally starts in a few days. Motorcycles everywhere. Don’t know how they deal with the heat and smoke. It’s been over 100 for the past 3 days. Today was better around 90 but so much smoke. Mary looked like she was very determined to find that gold prize money. ❤❤❤

Do you know where the Tour busses go when they head down Richardson Highway past North Pole? I know they stop at Santa Clause House but what is after that? Eilson? Delta? I see them go by all the time. I can see the highway from my house and hear the accompanying noise. Ugh.
Neat! I need to get to one our many summer events, we have art markets and free concerts but there are always so many people so I usually go to the park just to relax and I like the museums once in a while, glad you girls are having fun thanks for sharing
I’ve seen a hot dog eating contest and that is gross! Amazing how much those kids put down. I was hoping you would of found the gold pot! You had another fun day!! Have a great weekend!
