“Meddling” mall security? THEY are the trespassing meddling people here. Also, they are all self-righteous about “soulless retail development” until it’s time to get a real job😂 And WTF is that “Tape Art” crap🤮

“[To walk downtown] He cannot use the paths the cross under the mall”
Absolutely wrong. He certainly can. The right of passage supersedes the rights of the private owner.

Who told you otherwise — mall lawyers?

Good for him! there was an Asian couple in the town that I live near by who both worked as Janitors at the mall they slept in the Janitors Closet during the week and worked another job on weekends slept in their car parked at the mall, for 4 years they paid cash for their house and started their own restaurant in that mall

Worked mall security and once Found someone’s bedroom in the basement of one of the 4 story abandoned retail stores. Also I was working random shifts every day and with my car breaking down and not doing good on gas I would either sleep in my car on property or sleep in the abandoned parts of the stores. One time of the stores had a bunch of outfits for an event they were doing so I ended up doing my own little fashion show.

If hidden houses and speakeasies can exist in a space like then imagine how many are there

  14. 1337penguinman on December 1, 2022 at 10:52 am

If I was a mall cop I would’ve just let it go. At least it wasn’t crackheads or people that would actually cause problems holed up in there.

My family is/was always there to keep me from nearing “bottom” with an open ticket to return to family home anytime things got rough which they did early in my career. That’s why it’s important not to shit on your loved ones and hold them sacred from your selfish and greedy addictions.

  20. Consistently Online on December 1, 2022 at 10:56 am

Now the malls are empty. So much wasted space!

  21. Fernando Frias on December 1, 2022 at 10:56 am

Bro you give mall cops way too much credit.

  22. Renee Santiago on December 1, 2022 at 10:57 am

How did they squeeze furniture in that thin entrance??

  23. Robin Burk on December 1, 2022 at 10:58 am

Just had to laugh when narrator said that bell bottoms jeans were popular in 1999 where I came from they were going out in the mid 70s.

  24. Tara B on December 1, 2022 at 10:58 am

If you are homeless, maybe you can sleep in laundry rooms and basements of apartments if you arrive late and leave early. They are often left unlocked. Not the best, but if you’re in a desperate pinch it’s better than being out on the street.?

  25. drarsen33 on December 1, 2022 at 11:01 am

Conflicted about this one. On the one side its interesting, but on other it is clearly trespassing and for 4 years they used electricity without paying.
I am not a fan of corporate world, but I am not of a fan of hippy/artsy squatters also.

  26. FlameHashiraAries on December 1, 2022 at 11:03 am

In college there was a row of houses used as off campus offices – especially for the wave of organizations that arose after the 60s turmoils. By the late 70s most of these houses were unused, I came into the master key for EVERY house on that block! I found one I could squat in and lived there 2 years as I saved for a condo apartment purchase!

lol i don’t know about the USA but you think very highly of security rofl and that’s not much of a surprise its one of the only real tools they have in fooling the public into playing ball and all the retailers or at least 90% of them know this all to well also the various governments the main reason they are generally hired here is for property owners to take advantage of a property insurance exploit by were having 24hour coverage no matter how its done results in them saving a few hundred to a few thousand on property insurance rates in general it means that most clients here could give two shits about the work being done by the security and often rather they keep out of the daily workings of most companies and if by not doing there job works out for the firm also then no one cares the security company makes profits the clients save money and if something happens that’s large scale were insurance needs to step in and fingures get pointed the liable security guard generally takes full blame and things are often swept under the rug only to continue at the cost of possible loosing a guard or moving them into a different sector in the company lol

  32. TerrellWSmith on December 1, 2022 at 11:13 am

Great job! I’ve known grad students at the university who live on campus, sleeping on a couch in their office. I know someone who lived for years in a storage unit. (I think most of the units in this complex were being lived in.) The only downside was there was only one toilet, which was at the end of the building. He now lives in a tiny house in someone’s back yard. Our local home building supply company had someone living in one of their demo storage sheds out in the parking lot. A store employee told him to keep things clean, and to be sure to vacate every morning before the store opened. She also brought him some food every evening. She said he never caused any trouble.

There are many such places in Denmark I heard about.
An hidden apartment at Copenhagen Trainstation. Had to follow the tracks a bit – but wearing an orange vest; no problem.

  35. Arcade Alchemist on December 1, 2022 at 11:21 am

12:30 is it breaking and entry when there was NO entry to break in to? i mean it’s like GOD put the space there for them but they didn’t keep their faith clear

  36. Thomas Da Train on December 1, 2022 at 11:21 am

I once slept every night for 5 months in an abandoned store at a train station when I was homeless

  42. Michael Wardle on December 1, 2022 at 11:29 am

The irony is that 90 percent of malls are now wasted space that could easily accommodate thousands of rent burdened people.

  43. EDP on December 1, 2022 at 11:29 am

I lived in a church for about four months. I knew about a door with a tricky lock I could play with to get in during winter and I would camp in closets, under tables with tablecloths, in the nursery, and I could roam around at night because a security guard left at 11pm. I would eat in the kitchen, use the toilet, and walk around until like 5am. Then I’d walk to a mcd’s. I only did it one homeless winter about eighteen years ago. I never got caught. And I stayed very warm from Nov to Feb.

  44. Zee Best on December 1, 2022 at 11:30 am

In the USAF I slept in my office for about 6 months when times were hard! None of the upper ranks were hip to it – though I think they may have, or at least suspected. I was always up and about at by the time people showed up. One guy “busted” me when he saw a pizza carton in the garbage with my name and the late night delivery time on it (he too was always suspicious!), but we were kool!

  45. Zee Best on December 1, 2022 at 11:30 am

15:31 – If they got couches up there and there was a DOOR through which security eventually came through and arrested him, the fattest of security guards could have gotten in. AND unlike their official one, that was a “break room” in which they could smoke WEED!

  46. Nicole Black on December 1, 2022 at 11:32 am

Everyone in the comments seem to be cheering these guys on. Well I find this disgusting. Had it been a homeless family that honestly couldn’t afford housing, would’ve had their children removed and been hit with every crime possible 🤦🏾‍♀️ 😞

With inflation hitting people really hard and with the economïc recession, it’s no surprise that people are feeling the impact of the market crash. I realized that the secret to surviving the market, making profíts and attaining financial security is by making better :nvestment decision. Despite the recession, I’ve been able to make over 380k with a start up of 70k. The market is dynamic, and irrespective of the crash there’s still a lot to be made, make the most of it
