I met a fella on a motorcycle ride in Illinois if I remember right with a beautiful mustang in his small historic gas station/ garage . He had all kind of Carol Shelby pictures and autographed items as they were friends. Moonshine mustang was his car and he showed magazine articles on it .Awesome back story I found out.

I was in university in Baltimore in 1967 and rented a Shelby from Hertz and took it out on the Beltway up to 105 mph, got scared and slowed down… but what a thrill. Good memory watching this

Awesome show. Loved the presentation from start to finish even though I am not a car guy. Just a well defined documentary presented in an enjoyable eye-popping format. Good Luck with the restoration.

Never park your convertible under your hardtop/sedan. My neighbour bought a GTO and a Mustang convertible and had them shipped from the US. When he received the shipping container he found they had parked the GTO on top, and the beautiful white interior of the cabriolet was a write off due to oil leaks.

Wow! That’s one heck of a barn. Those aren’t found very often and if they are it’s usually a pile of scrap. Congrats!! I would love to see a walk around video when it’s completed.

WOW. Plaza Fiber Glass. That is a shocker, supplying parts to Ford. In the 1970’s I worked for Mack Truck Canada. During that time we brought on Plaza Fiberglass as a supplier, to make hoods. My dad had a Chev Vega with rusted out front fenders. I talked to the owners about making a left and right fenders. No Problem. Within a short period of time I was the proud owner of two Plaza Fiberglass fenders, in primer. Brought a can of paint and on the afternoon shift, the fenders were painted. A week later the fenders were on the car. My dad was thrilled.🦊

I have no idea why this story would come to my page, being a women who isn’t in to cars, although my husband is an auto painter, neither of us care for it as a hobby. That was so much fun to watch, the history and knowledge of it all. The man who assessed it really knows his stuff! The men who sold it were so nice and I wish you all the luck with your dream car! I hope I get to see it when it’s all done! I do appreciate a great paint job along with all the other work !

There’s an 67 SS Camaro here in Kotzebue, it’s disassembled sitting behind somebody’s house on front Street. I remember seeing it all my life and the old man says he’ll never sell it. It’s a pity to just see it sitting there.

I worked at a Ford dealership outside of Philly in 68 and 69. We had a bunch of 67/68 Shelby’s we couldn’t sell. They sat on the lot until the summer of 69 and they were wholesaled out to a buyer in Arizona. I remember them loading 13 of them on the transport.
