I missed the name of the campground. I live in Pensacola now and plan on exploring Georgia Alabama and Mississippi in the fall and springs. I’ve had my van since January and explored 19 parks in northern/central Florida and a few in Georgia.

Beautiful place, I don’t know how long ago you shot the video, but around here they just lifted a seasonal burn ban. How do you find out about local restrictions when you travel?

While you are near by, check out Prentiss Walker State Lake campground ….it’s a hidden gem for sure. It’s northeast of you and one of our favorite campgrounds. You can bike from the campground into town and it’s about 14 miles one way. We have camped there a few times and there is never more than a few people. Monthly it’s 375$ and nightly it’s $15. You can purchase your fishing
Permit right there. We say a huge catfish caught out of there. The closest town of Magee has some amazing Mexican restaurants and a Walmart. What more could you want …..

Best thing about southern states other than Florida is everyone is super friendly too…I’ve been traveling to Florida for years as I have family on the gulf side. It’s just so expensive and geared to tourists now. Loving the cameras to catch the many faces of the Green Bean queen 😉 Hugs to both of you and Pistol! xoxo Cella & Sugar

Can you talk about how you created the clothes line and what you use to wash your clothes?

  11. Nancy Skean on June 8, 2023 at 7:47 am

That looked like a beautiful, peaceful campground. Pistol looked like she really enjoyed the ride! Best wishes for your biking adventure.

Hi guys! Good work by both. Nice to see that the equipment works and the cadence is formidably good. Still, that was the sentence: they have caught 14 pound bass here, which is left in my head. I caught a bass (Perch) of 1.2 pounds yesterday, and it is above average in Norway (in freshvater. And about the campground….stunning!

Love this place. We camped there in Jan ‘20 and were snowed in! But, we still biked and this is one of our favorite trails. There’s a great little bakery at one of the towns along the trail! Fritters every morning! Enjoy!

  22. Joel L on June 8, 2023 at 8:10 am

Those paved trails are amazing. I would have never guessed they would have been so well maintained in such a poor part of the country. 👍👍😎👍👍

I love my state. Thank you for shining a light on Mississippi.

  24. Robert Risk on June 8, 2023 at 8:13 am

Hi guys. I think you could use an electric assist for the bikes when doing long or steep trails. I understand that the idea is to exercise, but since yoy have extra cargo, maybe have it as an emergency aid. That way you could increase your range and do trails that otherwise you couldn’t. Hey, even if ever in the need to get help quick help, it would be nice to have an electric motor.
