ABOUT THE WALKER BASIN
Walker Basin is located south of Lake Isabella and the Kern River Valley, east of Bakersfield, and north of Tehachapi Pass, near the southern boundary of the Sequoia National Forest. It is framed by Breckenridge Mountain at 7,548 feet (2,301 m) on the west side and Piute Mountain on the east. The community of Havilah is to the north up a canyon, and the communities of Fig Orchard and Millersville are to the south over a ridge.
ABOUT KERNVILLE, CALIFORNIA
Kernville has a large tourist industry centered on the white water rapids of the Kern River. While white water rafting and kayaking are the main attractions, one can also enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities. Fly fishing is also popular; in particular, the golden trout is highly sought after for catch and release fishing. Downtown Kernville has an Old West look and contains a number of restaurants, antique shops and motels.

Nice short little vid! I LOVE the editing; the use of some slow-mo with the voiceovers. I think a tasteful combination in the regular vlogs of this voiceover format with the live commentary that we are accustomed to would be an amazing combo! Somehow the voiceover adds an element of theatrical professionalism that kind of boosts the overall video quality. Super cool.
