I found GOLD in an ILLEGAL ground sluice!
I discovered by accident a VERY OLD illegal ground sluice someone build right into the river bed on my Dream Claim. I am not allowed to leave it in place but I am allowed to check out what it captured as I remove it and keep my claim in good standings with the claim inspectors. Check out what gold I found!
BC Mining law says you can not modify the creak bed in ay way. I know my inspectors watch my videos and check my claims so to keep from getting untroubled for this ground sluice I will be removing it.

The static is caused yes from water, but also if the outer casing on cable leading from the camera to the shoe mounted Microphone. I discovered a tear and it exposed shielded wire, i used electrical tape and my static was fixed. no more crackling sound.

Just an idea, is it possible to put a length of sluice mat on the river bed to catch any Gold running down that GIANT SLUICE? It would seem like a fair play to me if you could secure it well enough! I am not yet a prospector. However, I am very inquisitive… If the gold I was finding while panning was still encased in quartz, I would start looking with a little bit of seriousness for a quartz outcropping nearby for an actual vein…
