Another great video! I’m from Greensburg so my dad’s side used to always go there, I love that place! The country ham & biscuits alone could keep me fed for months. Just curious, have u ever tried the Lighthouse Restaurant in Taylorsville??

dang good to see National Treasure…food looked great but my favorite part was the tomato..I could taste it…can’t buy a good tomato in the store…home grown or farm stand…someday do a two fer down there…Cindy’s Center Grill for breakfast and Pa-Daddy’s Backyard Bar-B-Q (pork shoulder) for lunch.
    thank you Coach!
    let’s go UK…beat Georgia!

Hahaa! That reaction when drinking from the well! 😀 😀 😀 PS: Excellent idea getting biscuits and red-eye gravy to go.

It’s dam near impossible to find a good sweet tasting homegrown tomato anymore. Even the Amish don’t grow good tomatoes. They’ve all been crossbred so much and have ruined the strain of tomato. Please let us know if you know anyone with good seedlings and seeds that are true homegrown tomatoes with the taste. They’re all hot house, even Amish tht they tout so much. All the roadside tomatoes people sell are not homegrown either, they buy them off a truck which is why they all look the exact same. Same color, same size, same bland taste. Look for tomatoes from a country farmer, if you’re lucky enough to find them, where all the tomatoes have a different look and size etc

My husband and I love your videos! We’ve lived in New Albany, IN all our lives and think you’d really enjoy Pints and Union here in New Albany. It’s our favorite restaurant and a real hidden gem. Highly recommend the smash burger, their wings (only available certain days) and they have the best Indian food!

Next time you’re in Lexington, you need to try Georgetown Cafe on Georgetown Rd. One of, if not my favorite spots in the city! Fair prices and huge quantities of food. Thank me Later! Lol

You should check out Papi’s Tacos and More. My wife took me there for my birthday yesterday because I wanted some Mexican. It may have been the best Mexican I’ve had since our daughter and son in law lived in CA and we would get some there. I think there are 3 locations. We went to Radcliff. (I even left shrapnel on my table)

50 years ago we got married and moved to Glasgow for the first 10 years. We at at Lighthouse back when it was Porter’s! Glad to see it is still great! First time we went with “local” friends they only gave us one piece of advice, ask for a Coke from the machine, the ice is made from well water. You know that Sulphur smell? The Ice tastes like it. 😅

Unfortunately the comments about the necklace are true Barry. It’s sick and sad some people have nothing better to do than try to embarrass someone. Hate to say it but it might be a good idea to take this one down.

Nice review! My brother lives in Glasgow. Next time I go visit him I’ll have to see if we can go to the Lighthouse.

  25. @benestrada5589 on September 20, 2024 at 7:10 pm

  26. @jamijessie4287 on September 20, 2024 at 7:13 pm

My son was baptized in Sulfur Well Creek right across the from where yall where. The Lighthouse is a great place to eat. Did you all sign the guestbook they have out front? The men that talked about the BBQ Hut on Reynolds Rd in Glasgow is right, its a must try! Always happy to see the "Legend" We were cracking up watching you two, this was one of my favorite videos you have done. Jesse James and a couple of presidents stayed to the hotel- lots of history.

  36. @flyinsaucer138 on September 20, 2024 at 7:24 pm

y’all are real characters in the best way, salute to The National Treasure

  37. @DonJoeBob on September 20, 2024 at 7:24 pm

As soon as I saw that necklace… I felt so sorry for Barry (look up ChrisChan if you don’t know). But it’s ok, it shows how good of a guy he is, he wanted to thank a fan and wore it even though it’s hideous. Of course he had no idea what he was stepping into. Who knows, maybe it could cause this video and channel to go more viral by accident.

  38. @debk5427 on September 20, 2024 at 7:26 pm

We used a lazy Susan at home. Many times I miss it.

    Awesome video!!

  43. @DavidHuber63 on September 20, 2024 at 7:30 pm

Red eyed gravy redeemed the double snap 🙂

  44. @DeborahBrown-tj7wx on September 20, 2024 at 7:30 pm

Lol! My Daddy LOVED sulphur water. It smells like rotten eggs. He was from Pineville,, Ky and used to take empty milk jugs when we’d visit there and fill them with that water.. There’s a sulfur spring somewhere in Pine Mountain State Park he used to get it from.

  45. @CKinKC on September 20, 2024 at 7:30 pm

The national treasure reminds me of a old dried up turd

  46. @sextonskentuckycardboard5435 on September 20, 2024 at 7:30 pm

GLAD YOU MADE IT DOWN, THIS IS A FAMILY FAVORITE RESTRAUNT OF OURS AS WELL, THOSE"CALF SLOBBERS" ON THAT PIE IS IMPRESSIVE.

  47. @braceletunivrse on September 20, 2024 at 7:32 pm

Hi Goodall!! My dad and I love watching your videos and I have a question. So my mom works at this place in butcher town called bourbon barrel foods. We would love if you could come and get a soy sauce tasting! Keep up the great work!!! We love you!

  48. @hippydippy on September 20, 2024 at 7:34 pm

Oh My… That food looked goood! Only disappointing part was the packaged tarter sauce. You’d think a place like that would make it fresh, but that’s nit-picking ain’t it? lol

  49. @carolbanks3414 on September 20, 2024 at 7:38 pm

    What a gem ❤

  50. @scenicdriveways6708 on September 20, 2024 at 7:38 pm

You lied, you said you were going to eat the catfish naked, but you were fully dressed when you ate it! Good thing too, because we really didn’t want to see that! 😂😂
Fun video guys. My wife and I will have to go try the Lighthouse Restaurant; we live only 30 minutes away.
Y’all gotta go try out The Eatin’ Table, 1272 Gamaliel Road, Tompkinsville, KY. They have a Breakfast challenge with your name on it. If you eat the whole thing, you get it for free.
