For people that live a "harder" lifestyle, or a go getter lifestyle, its strange to me how overweight they are…

Nope can’t do killing a bear.

  4. @nolemons on November 30, 2024 at 9:13 pm

That bear was hit. Sad you walked 20 feet up the creek and called it. Pretty unethical hunting. The dude hyperventilating as a gun mount threw the shot off for sure. Seemed a bit rehearsed actually. Hope the bear was some stock video.

  5. @keepingscore63 on November 30, 2024 at 9:13 pm

I apologize bc I am catching up. Yall say you have been out there for 20plus years, but for people to say they are green at stuff like shooting an animal for food and cutting trees for warmth…how did you live before the show. I’m very conflicted. It’s weird, i dont get it. Almost like a bunch of people from the lower 48 started a show and said I’ve been here 20+!

I have never seen anyone load ammo like that. I go as far as weighing it twice for every shell.

Bummer on the bear but I did see her pull the shot

  19. @cef_outdoors on November 30, 2024 at 9:31 pm

You definitely don’t rest your shot on a person who is breathing and moving and the person who is shooting can move slightly, so doubled the chances of missing.

  20. @warrenreinke7971 on November 30, 2024 at 9:32 pm

From the footage that has been shown of Curley the logger. He is the last person that should be teaching someone forestry skills. Every thing shown has something wrong with it.

As much as this looks idyllic from afar, and after watching several of these videos, I dont get how you have all these old boats, houses, and stuff just strewn around. some of the yards look like dumps. sure some stuff is reused but there’s gotta be a better way

  38. @Tim00190019 on November 30, 2024 at 9:50 pm

Can’t believe his "style" of " reloading " cartridges. And that makes an accurate bullet? This amount of nonsense in these "REALITY" shows is ridiculous. Is real life that boring that we need to watch shows like this? It’s my first episode I’ve watched and only made 5 minutes.

  39. @UARAF16 on November 30, 2024 at 9:52 pm

This is way better than Homestead Rescue vids where they do nothing.

  40. @seanantill3366 on November 30, 2024 at 9:53 pm

I just love how on this show they go oh I caught a king salmon and I’m good for the winter. When the rest of us in Alaska have to catch several salmon even living in town to get through the winter. You guys, it’s unbelievable the nonsense.

  41. @touchgrass42 on November 30, 2024 at 9:54 pm

I Wonder what bear meat taste????? Probably like dog????

  44. @pierregodin1668 on November 30, 2024 at 9:57 pm

It i every dangerous to go after a bear you just shot. You need to wait al least 30 minutes before tracking an animal you just shot. If its not a heart or lung shot all you will do is push further into the bush. The waiting time will let the animal stop and rest there if it is hit, will bleed to death.
These methods you are showing is a very bad hunting technic unless you see it fall and stay there, and eaven there you wait 10 minutes to let the animal expire.

  45. @blandishblaze on November 30, 2024 at 9:58 pm

If you can’t wrangle a chainsaw don’t run one! I’ve seen this twice in my time, both times were trips to the hospital. Any kind of kickback and that girl is done for! You gotta be able to steady the saw with force. If your having a hard time just holding it, your doomed.

  46. @Orville-sw1cg on November 30, 2024 at 10:00 pm

Briana, I don’t know any hunter that hasn’t missed a shot. But we still go look an make sure it was a miss. You’ll get him next round.

  47. @jamesdurstine8892 on November 30, 2024 at 10:02 pm

  48. @elenavalta4955 on November 30, 2024 at 10:02 pm

    We stan curly bless him.

  50. @jeberjaber on November 30, 2024 at 10:05 pm

Bears internals are further back unlike deer. So when she said she’s done that before she’s not the first to say it. With bears aim middle of the middle and 2 inches towards the head broadside with front arm closest to you in forward position
