  2. @windowshaman on February 18, 2025 at 12:51 am

Who cares about the treasure. Just being out in the wilderness would be heaven.

  3. @Allansybesma on February 18, 2025 at 12:53 am

It’s located in a national park so you can’t take anything out but you and your own trash.

  5. @martinwitt9565 on February 18, 2025 at 12:53 am

  6. @tommychicago1381 on February 18, 2025 at 12:54 am

If you think there’s gold in the Superstition Mountains, you should also check the Grand Canyon.

  7. @kimnkruzin on February 18, 2025 at 12:55 am

Please PLEASE, remove the music, it’s distracting and annoying. Your story telling is very riveting and excellent alone. No music needed. Please thanks

  8. @cadderley100 on February 18, 2025 at 12:55 am

Whatever mine the Dutchman had, or stole, I think he tapped the mine out. I think it’s empty now. Here’s a fact for you, I know the main locations on the Stone Map’s. Using Google Earth, I have found them. Silver King Mine is on there. Now, there is one town, called Rey, on the map. This is the thing, Rey didn’t exist until around 1875. Those Stone’s couldn’t have been drawn in 1847, because some of the locations didn’t exist in 1847. Rey looks like a large "F" on the map, in the South East corner. Also, if you arrange the Stone’s in the correct order, they form a decorative head stone.

  13. @kingofcastlechaos on February 18, 2025 at 12:58 am

Love the story, HATE the music.
"Just because you can does not mean you should." Only got 8 min into this- truly sucks- sounded like a lovely story, so dis-respectful to the speaker trying to convey his tale.

My friend referred me to a book about the Lost Dutchman’s gold; the title of the book is Thunder God’s gold, written by Barry Storm, I don’t remember when the book was written, it was old when I read it in the late 1950’s. It was a very informative and interesting read. IFB

You know I would love to believe all these stories but the fact is I’ve grown up in America and all the old guys like to bulshit the young guys just to hear themselves talk I’ve met far too many of them some of them from the greatest Generation who fought World War II. I used to believe every word my elders told me until I figured this out😮

  23. @trublue52 on February 18, 2025 at 1:08 am

I agree, the music is very distracting.

The gold is the story that gets milked until the cow dries up!

" Me and the old boy Sam Drago was sneaking around behind our women of ya know what I mean. Well we was sitting on a rock sharing a bottle of whiskey. We was about two sheets into the wind when we looked down. Suddenly we looked down and the Boulder we was a standing in was pure gold! Deciding to sober up we agreed to return the following day. We still can not find that Boulder we was a sitting on!

  36. @bradsmith5627 on February 18, 2025 at 1:28 am

Great story!! Would love to listen to the whole thing but the music is very annoying

  37. @Wilbarrow on February 18, 2025 at 1:29 am

The dramatic back ground music is as annoying as striking Fools gold.

  38. @markunruh6954 on February 18, 2025 at 1:30 am

Is this a story or a damn concert. I don’t why these story tellers have the loud ass music. Bummer

  39. @Desertphile on February 18, 2025 at 1:30 am

The Dutchman’s "Lost Mine" was found in the 1860’s, and called The Vulture Mine.

  40. @frankgegunde6329 on February 18, 2025 at 1:35 am

The background sound track is obnoxious and distracting. 😮

  45. @MrBottlecapBill on February 18, 2025 at 1:40 am

You can’t live on gold ore, even back then. It has to be assayed and purified. Nobody knows how much gold is in your rocks lol. Ya you may be able to buy a drink or a meal or something but………not much more than that. The story is bunk.

1963 I was 13 years old we lived in Tempe AZ in a trailer park on Apache Jct across the street from ASU. There was a man named Noble that lived 3 trailers from us that said he is a gold prospector. He had a gas engine that ran a rock crusher he crushed rock into sand then panned out the gold in his kitchen sink. Noble was secret about where he gets gold and would never show people anything. He had a truck and motor bike, he would be gone a week or 2 then spend a week panning gold out of black sand but would never talk to adults or show anyone anything. I knew Noble for a year every time He found enough gold to not work for 2 weeks he was home. Then he was gone looking for gold again. He was not getting rich or he would have stayed retired. School was out for the summer we were moving back to Illinois and never went back to AZ. Last time I saw Noble I said goodbye that is when he showed me 9 glass quart mason jars of black sand & gold in his kitchen. He panned gold in the kitchen for a week or 2. 62 years later I see your video now I know what a cash is. ‘.
