This episode is straight up sending chills through my entire spine. I am maniacally obsessed with genealogy research. I am half Dutch on my mom’s side. I have a 3rd great grandma on my mom’s side who ended up in Washington from Missouri on a Mormon wagon train. And I have ancestors with the surname Clarke. Every time I hear these terms, I feel like there’s someone in the room watching me…. 😳

Edit I know the mane Perkins enough to write a novel. That’s the name of my 9th great grand aunt. She was from the same place and time as the "progenitor" of my paternal line in America.

    Deliverance Perkins

B:10 August 1655 Saybrook Manor, Middlesex County, Connecticut, United States of America

D:30 December 1731 New Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut, United States of America

Omg seriously 😲 Governor William Bradford, Mayflower passenger, was my 10th geat grandfather. His great grand daughter Alice Ripley married my paternal 7th great grandfather Samuel Edgerton.

I’ve been at it for a long time. I will never ever quit. You will eventually be surprised at what you do find, what you learn along the way. The very beauty of that which few people ever get to see.
