I found this mine back in 1987. By then the door was really rusty. I took out some gold, as much as my motorcycle could carry. Went back to town to Ace Hardware and bought 2 gallons of Rust-Oleum Heavy Metal Primer. Primed the doors and while it was still wet threw dirt/sand on it. Stacked some wood and rock in front of it. You can’t see it anymore. Took another load of gold back. That’s what I have lived on the last 37 years, with the help of some timely investments in Walmart & Amazon stock. Anyway, as fortune would have it I had a motorcycle wreck and suffer from amnesia. I’m an amnesiac sad to say. If the location ever comes back to me I’ll let everyone know. We can all re-find it together. Happy trail (gold dust trails). Thanks for the video and story Alan!

Back in 1887 , there was 7.4 earthquake originating 190 miles south east of Tucson . If I am not mistaken the earthquake did cause damage to the Santa Catalina Mountains when large rock formations fell and maybe it could have covered the mine entrance.
