Revisiting the legend of what some call the Lost Spanish Cave on Vancouver Island, AKA; Ed Mullard’s Secret Cave (Tunnel), Mystery Cave of Vancouver Island, Spanish Treasure Cave of Vancouver Island, Spanish Tunnel, Lost Spanish Mine of Leechtown, Hidden-Mysterious Treasure Cave of Vancouver Island.
Did Ed Mullard discover a secret passage cave (tunnel) with steps, or stairs leading into a room full of treasure (gold bars, gold coins, silver coins, jewels, artifacts, etc.)? Did Ed Make it up? Could Ed be telling the truth, but gave a fake location to keep would be treasure hunters out of his secret tunnel?
I have reviewed multiple Colonist newspaper articles, and put together a story (blog) with images from the actual archives. Pretty neat! This is unlike anything you have probably seen before looking into the legend of Ed Mullard’s lost cave, or lost tunnel on Vancouver Island, British Columbia (BC), Canada.
This Vancouver Island treasure legend should not be confused with other stories, such as; Lost Gold Ledge of Leechtown, Foster’s Lost Cave Mine, or the stories of the boot, or pot filled with gold by Rattle Snake Dick (outlaw) at Leechtown.
