Man Finds A Hidden Room In His Old Attic, But No One Was Ready For What Was Inside
Rudi Schlattner and his family fled their home in Czechoslovakia after World War II came to a close. As they escaped the encroaching Soviets, they were forced to leave all that they had behind and start anew.
Rudi, now well into his 80s, went back to his old home with his family for the first time in decades. The house had since been made into a kindergarten, and there were many changes that made the place nearly unrecognizable.
But Rudi still believed that he would find what his father had left behind before they left: a hidden treasure lying dormant in the house.

Damn must have been a freak, look at those rope ties 🤣
I love how hating on "Soviet’s"is being popularized and killing 500.000 in Iraq is being normalized.
Rudy should’ve just hired a small crew or had some of his younger relatives break in one night and take the stuff. No one knew it was there, so presumably, no one would miss it.
narrator like watching hair grow
Greed ,greed can only go so far.
It’s something that the government has to stick its business in peoples personal affairs. CWA
Just looks like a bunch of junk to me.
I always wanted my own hidden room just a place to get away from it all sounds great right
1.8 million in silver.. wonder why the ship sank 🤔
This guy took a L I would have burned house down before letting gov take it
What’s has a German bomb twice over and other places got to do with Rudy finding in his house he grew up in got to do with German findings..curious to know
All sorts of treasures are found when old buildings are taken down. Most just go home with the workers who found them.
If it were me, I would ask to keep one minor thing, like a small mirror. I think a hand mirror would be nice.
Really annoying how they keep calling it a "Discovery"….it wasnt discovered by him, He knew it was there. Sheesh

THE MURDEROUS ZIONISTS KILLING CHECKS.
HIGH RESALE VALUE.
JOKE. shame.
garbage.
Why were they afraid of the Soviet army? The Germans, who had never been in the NSDAP or otherwise involved in collaboration, were allowed to stay. Global fascism offers the Germans a new audacity. F..k them forever.
Thanks for nothing . Fail .
If that happened in America they wouldn’t be Rudy’s belongings anymore they would belong to the government they would be auctioned off like worthless items because America is some goddamn bullies
This is an incredible story!
Great story… Thanks
This was in a building where he lived with the father before they had to escape, not in the USA, but in the Czech Republic. The building is now a kindergarten and does not belong to his family. It gets complicated when you ‘find’ what belonged the family, but live in another country, eh? What a truly special event that Rudy could locate the family’s things.
To think, as you say, what other undiscovered treasures are still out there, especially if no one was left alive to return for them. A very sad time for humanity.
Wow that lady is rubbing herself off in the banister
So fascinating and boring at the same time. What an oddity.
I dislike all this guys videos and they still get suggested to me
I would keep whatever I found
When it said no one was ready for what was in there, I thought it was going to be DEAD BODIES! Imagine my disappointment when it was some ancient stuff
So does he still own the house if they never sold it.?
Thanks for getting right to the recovery and the facts around it. No wasted time 👍👍
Some people will go to the extreme to not let history be opened.
They spoke about the submarine but the very next picture was that of a plane. They never mentioned anything about the plane. I showed my WWII historian genius husband and he said he thought it was an German ME 110. you can see the twin stabilizers in the tail and how elongated the cockpit was when comparing it to a Google image of one.
Anyone else have a thought about the plane? Where is was found? What happened to it, etc?
"Can you believe that that much fit in such a small space?" How would I know? I don’t know how small the space was.
"I wonder what’s in here." while showing a guy looking at a hat box.
"No one was ready" is a click bait title 100% of the time that it’s used.
"[A German-Czech family] fled their home in Czechoslovakia *after* WWII came to a close…" Hmm. I wonder why they didn’t flee a few years earlier when the Nazis took over the country? Oh wait, I guess you can see why at 2:03. That’s grim.
Really adds a thick layer of irony to the repeated comments like "Can you imagine having to flee your home and leave all your belongings behind?", since there were at least 80,000 Jews and several thousand Roma who were forced from their homes by a dictatorship the Schlattners appear to have supported, at the very least tacitly.
this narrated guys voice and the excessive use of too many words has me turn it off everytime… FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!
You should really do more separate takes so we can’t hear every breath lmao
His belongings was really important but I don’t know why was there really stuff in the basement they can make it into a room!
WOW!!!
If families that survived wanted these items back yet the government decided these items were now the governments the government would be considered thieves and stealing peoples property.
Talk Talk
OMG!!!! WOW!!! MY TRUE LOVE!!!
Interesting story but i do not have words for HOW MUCH I HATE THIS GUYS VOICE. Search other places for the same story. Do other people actually like this narrative? Maybe I’m just a salty old grouch. Well thats true for sure…. Anyone?
I can’t stand these photo compilation videos
"even this umbrella" -picture of metal-
who knew what was in his creepy basement 😮 also why was there secret stuff hidden there the whole time?
If there a gold mines under your house it will be government property but if they found drug under your house then its yours…hmmm
They are his. Not a museum’s.
It’s Also obvious he found Hitler and Ava hiding still
"Sorry sir, your sisters old play doll is now an artifact. You can’t have that."
Why would he report it to the government? Smh.
