From this video even tho its not officiall case if he didnt accually move the gold or other rare metals from the found possition he didnt steal it and therefore he can now be in prison only for "withoulding information" but he can just use his 5th amendmend lol and freedom of speach therefore he can only win by not wining and never going back for it and never tell anyone where it is(because sicretly writing or telling someone is not posible anymore) or he can mske a non disclousure deal with federal companys for few percenteges for gold but will probably after giving the information have same kind of accident…

Tommy I know it’s rough there in jail it has to be but if you want to get back at them damn do feds and government lets you and I work out a deal and I’ll make sure to make your bucket list on everything that is possible other than breaking you out but if you was to get out takeover my lavish living style and I’ll disappear and you can continue on or hell we can just be friends and that way it’s not tied to you and I’ll make sure that

    Don’t say a thing.

  14. @user-er9yz2fo2p on November 29, 2023 at 8:39 am

I personally think he should receive the majority of the treasure, but the insurance companies should get something as they paid to cover it

  18. @cristofervidre8378 on November 29, 2023 at 8:43 am

What isnt funny is that a judge was bribe to give the sentence and that happens every other day.

  19. @maxcondra4991 on November 29, 2023 at 8:44 am

Because paying a finders fee is just out of the question i guess

  20. @jasonbrown9490 on November 29, 2023 at 8:45 am

Obviously, after that period of time, the insurance companies weren’t looking that hard and wrote it off. There should be a statute of limitations on that policy. I say he earned it. F the insurance companies.

  21. @wendyfletcher3973 on November 29, 2023 at 8:47 am

Ridiculous, let the man keep HIS gold, finders keepers and salvage laws etc

  22. @tmwill61 on November 29, 2023 at 8:47 am

If the insurance companies aren’t actually seeking physically looking for that and somebody else finds it the salvage rights belong with the person that founded it

  23. @mysty0 on November 29, 2023 at 8:47 am

So this sounds like and attempt to extract Compelled Speech to me and is a Violation of his 1st Amendment Rights. If they want the Gold they can go find it for themselves, or PAY THE MAN!

  24. @zaggaona on November 29, 2023 at 8:51 am

Is it not unconstitutional to keep someone in jail indefinitely ?? He’s not telling where the shipwreck is? Absolutely ridiculous!

  25. @danielcarrera886 on November 29, 2023 at 8:51 am

If the gold was ensured doesn’t that mean that those companies got paid/reimbursed for the loss of the gold
So that gold isn’t theirs anymore
Technically and maybe even legally it belongs to the federal government and because the man found it that means he is owed a finders fee

    Somewhere around 5% to 20%

  26. @michellebell9931 on November 29, 2023 at 8:53 am

    Gold belongs to Thomas😂

  27. @georgejamestaylor7572 on November 29, 2023 at 8:54 am

Give him the money! If it such an issue with these insurance companies, why they have done absolutely fuck all? They just trying it on, no surprise s Judge agreed with them! Judges are out of touch with reality, they all piss in the same pot!!!

  28. @markstephanieceniceros231 on November 29, 2023 at 8:54 am

Finders keepers that’s what I think.

  29. @dearbee2939 on November 29, 2023 at 8:54 am

I wouldn’t tell them sh**, they didn’t hire him or pay him for his work so f**k’m, free him then pay him

  31. @pern1044 on November 29, 2023 at 8:56 am

Shiver me timbers, matey. A modern day pirate! A real pirate will never tell where the boundy lies beneath the deep sea nor beneath a dead man grave. Arrr!

  32. @MrMrgetbad on November 29, 2023 at 8:57 am

    Finder’s keepers!
    Thats what i think

  33. @reread2549 on November 29, 2023 at 8:57 am

Do the decent thing. Make a deal with him and offer him a sizable reward. Your imprisoning someone I assume on contempt for not disclosing information that is not related to a egregious felony. Give the guy 20%. He will pay taxes on it and the insurance companies will get back 80% minus salvage fees. This way there are winners in the situation and not just all losers.

  34. @ronswan1284 on November 29, 2023 at 9:00 am

I think they were not worried about the gold they didn’t spend there time money and not to mention he risked his life to find it so I think it belongs to him after 166 years don’t think they should have a claim to it

  35. @CarlosSanchez-bg4wf on November 29, 2023 at 9:00 am

He deserves something plus limitation ran out

  36. @victordasilva4627 on November 29, 2023 at 9:04 am

That’s bull if he found the treasure why should he give it up .

  37. @jottoruff6120 on November 29, 2023 at 9:09 am

Correct me if I’m wrong but if it was insured wouldn’t they have to pay back the claim? Idk how it works

  38. @chefsam4760 on November 29, 2023 at 9:09 am

The insurance companies have no claim, they were paid for their services 166 years ago and salvage rights apply.

  39. @mscov2915 on November 29, 2023 at 9:10 am

Have they offered any deals? He found it and the price of gold today He should get millions. Finders fee. The insurance companies will be better off making a deal bad judgment..

  40. @JohnChina321 on November 29, 2023 at 9:11 am

Dude why tf would u tell everybody

  41. @jesusceballosjr18 on November 29, 2023 at 9:12 am

He should stay in prison until he says where it is

  42. @teresabranham3436 on November 29, 2023 at 9:12 am

If I didn’t get to keep the gold I wouldn’t tell nobody where it is either

  43. @bookeruzzell6213 on November 29, 2023 at 9:12 am

1857!?!?I’d tell them,"then you go find it!

  44. @jessevallejo8797 on November 29, 2023 at 9:13 am

Finders keepers. The insurance companies were paid by their insurees. IMO.

  45. @halftwisted-halfknot8174 on November 29, 2023 at 9:16 am

Give the man the money. Screw the insurance companies and bankers.

  46. @dhoneofficial on November 29, 2023 at 9:16 am

    Judge:😴
    Me: you piece of sh!t

  47. @indiatastic on November 29, 2023 at 9:17 am

Why did he tell anyone? People need to learn to keep their mouths shut.

  48. @dorothygrube5314 on November 29, 2023 at 9:18 am

It is theirs but they owe him for his expenses

  49. @TheRealSparkplugTheFox on November 29, 2023 at 9:20 am
