Those stones are called by several names, hammerstone, pestle or mano. When I was a kid they were called corn grinders and some folks still refer to them by that name today. It’s a really cool artifact.
Looks like yall had a good time Brandon. We need to make one of those hunts someday.

I was hoping you would find a couple of gold coins to help out with your wife and bills. I was out the past 2 days in arrowhead alley. Found a lot of TQ chips, an arrowhead or 2, and a knife blade. Water’s low so I go. Sending Miranda a personal fb message for both of you!!
    Great video. 👍👍♥️

Hello Brandon. Quick question on seeded hunts. If the items are buried, wouldn’t you be able to tell if the ground has been disturbed before detecting?

  19. bswell on April 24, 2023 at 5:17 pm

I encouraged my wife to get away from that powerline. I’m not telling her you found anything under it, lol! She was convinced that’s where all the good tokens would be.

But, I’ll be danged, I can’t figure out what happened about the mustache contest?
It’s morphed into a beard, so I’m not sure who won…😶‍🌫️

When a person can honestly tell the truth on camera about family or anything else means a lot to their audience or viewers ..and that makes your channel one of the best. Awesome video.

Brandon it was a pleasure to meet you and visit with you at Treasure fest 5. I’m so sorry your wife broke her ankle and couldn’t come. I hope she gets better soon.

I have never been detecting in my adult life though I used to try with my father decades and decades ago. I might try to take it up again, but I would need an event like this to get used to it. Looked like a lot of fun!

Hey Brandon, I have a question for you. I was digging at a dump in Alabama a couple days ago. I need your help if you don’t mind? I cannot find any information on ‘Sniders ‘ medicine bottle from Selma, Ala. One more for ya. I cannot find anything on Anniston, Ala Chero-Cola bottles. We dug up 4 different varieties of the Snider’s meds and about 2 blue chero-s, among a hundred + different bottles. By far my greatest dig and by far the biggest hole I’ve ever dug in my life.
