It’s a pin for the lapel.Remember a broach is large.
Nice hunt. Love the variety and the old truck. Thanks for sharing!!!
When I was a kid in the 60s half the pennies in my pocket were wheat cents. Bubble gum was .01 cent back then . My Mom told me when she was a kid .01 cent would buy a bag of candy. I saw bubble gum a few weeks ago and the same size piece is now .35 cents. The more money they print the less its worth. That’s why article 1 section 10 states No State shall make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts. Seems they only follow the Constitution when they feel like it.
Very ! Very! Cool guys. WOW! Geez, the hunts/sites you find and get permissions to are AMAZING!!!
Bruce & I love the old stone structures!
Do you guys ever carry a small shaker box with you? Look for the stones when you find jewelry that had settings? Could be worth it.
Hi Guys, I really enjoy your channel, especially the adventures in the woods. It brings back memories of roaming the woods and trout streams of Butler county back in the late 60’s and 70’s – I wish I had had a metal detector back then to check out some of the cool places I found. I’m now 1,100 miles and searching metal detecting adventures in my area. Keep up the good work – always fun to watch your videos.
Great finds and fun, guys!
Seems like a good start on some new properties. Duck race prize?๐คฃ
That all brass shotgun shell is great! Not flattened at all. Really cool find! I saw one at a flea market once in pristine condition for $50. Rk.
Nice finds this week guys, congratulations! Also did a great job editing, video looked amazing. Keep up the good work, and good luck on your next hunt!
Hey Dave i dug a swimaway Slide Buckle not to long ago Congrats. Love the Bird Relic also. Congrats on all the finds. Nice Shotgun Shell. The one Piece is very Ornate. Love it. Congrats on the Mercury Dime also. Take Care
Sweet Merc, you all had some good finds and then ending with a Tootsie.
Great hunt there guys. Awesome pin and tootsie! Thanks for another great video ๐
Awesome as always guys!!!!!!! Thank you All ๐๐๐๐
Watched a vid of a detectorist in Germany and he found a brass cartridge like Jerry’s and he guessed it to be a flare gun cartridge.Tall brass for a standard shotgun round, but just a pinion.:>)
7:57. 1919. great finds always. if it could tell you its story โฆ.
Nice job fellas. The opening romantic walk through the woods with โthe legend โ Shawn . Lmao ๐คฃ I was waiting for the farmers only theme song to come on! ๐ Iโve been in a major slump. But thatโs the hobby we love!
You guys coming up to COS? Lmk.
What’s happening? Where are you? You haven’t posted in 3 wks! You all okay
What Tom Hanks movie were you talking about?
That is some nice finds guys! Great views as well. I have a few tootsie cars too.

Great hunt guys. That old swing set is cool to see.
Dang that 26 Merc looks like it was dropped soon after they got it from the bank ๐ฎ
That old swim buckle was a really cool save!! I like that tootsie toy!!

๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅEscutcheon with keyhole – Nice
Fun times you all have.. Lots of laughs and good finds and the trash teasing too.. Happy Hunting. Peace
Loved it! Always fun and interesting. โคLL
I believe the buckle to be from an old pair of circa 1930’s mens woolen Swimaway swim trunks. Thanks again for the videos guys. Always entertaining.
Beautiful video, great finds, fun to watch. The first pin could be a cravat pin or as someone ready suggested, a lapel pin. They were sometimes quite fancy, with stones. Thanks for taking us along! Have you been troubled much by ticks?
Love the intro.
The shotgun shell dates probably no later than the mid 1880s. They started phasing them out in the mid 1870s in favor of the cheaper to make waxed paper shells for shotguns. I’ve been fortunate to fine 2 of the all brass ones here in my hometown in Missouri.
Thanks for tacking us along with ya you legend ๐ ๐๐๐๐
New music. Great finds and video presentation. Keep strong and keep swinging. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on your finds. The woods there are so beautiful . Love the video and the music
๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
Sure hope to see you guys again soon!
Beautiful intro!!!!!!! Looks like your handywork Jerry ๐We really do find out who we are through each other, even those who were here before us. Watching now guys… ๐๐๐๐
Have you guys thought about LiDAR? You do incredible research.
Some nice relics you guys dug up, and always a joy to dig a merc! ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐
Funny funny….The bit about being excited with 72 Memorial. Never thought of it until you mentioned it. I’m HOPING we won’t be.
Fun hunt guys, nice cellar holes. That sheโll looked like it is for a flare. Love the swim away buckle๐๐
Great finds as always, love them old foundations too.
When you asked how you would feel about newer things thirty years into the future; the foundation marked "1950" would have been new construction when I was a kid. Another viewpoint from a geezer: I do not have a good opinion of FDR, so rosies are less desirable to me. A a youngster, should I acquire the getting-rare Barber dime, I couldn’t wait to trade it for something newer. But I did collect steel pennies.
Great hunt ๐
Blows my mind to see a Merc come up in the middle of the woods like that ๐คฏwow!!!!!!!…
No, wait! This canโt be over! You just got to the cellar hole๐ฎ.๐
Keep some Vicks Vaporub in the car . You get a tick, dab some on it, and it will release itself. there’s a new tick virus in PA that goes to the brain. https://www.cdc.gov/powassan/index.html
Great hunt very cool finds God bless and happy dirt fishing
I cringed at the sound when you were scratching the 1919 wheatie and then you mentioned it 1 second later. Lol
Nice hunt guys. Yall had some cool and different finds. I like the duck and the tootsie truck. The Merc was an unexpected find. ๐๐ฏ
