Metal Detecting Adventure in LONE PINE CA / Treasure and Amazing Relics
In my very first video for my metal detecting channel, I’m spending my birthday in Lone Pine California. I’m searching for lost history and treasures from the early mining days. Lets see whats Under California!!
My videos are always family friendly, so you can watch with your kids.

As far as I’m concerned you killed it brother!
Man, I have to get out there in the desert, those are some great finds👍 Also, well done on the editing, very clean and smooth😊 I’m in So Cal too, maybe I’ll bump into you out there🤜🤛 Stay well and ATB~ Eric Q4G
Good job on the video. I really enjoyed it!
Great video! I haven’t hunted deserts much but that looked like a ton of fun; so much activity – old activity – out there. And it looks so peaceful and quiet… LOVE that match safe, and the hunting license is awesome. I really like how you do close up videos at the end with the music rather than stills; it really gives so much character to each individual find, even those ones some of us pass over as commonplace. Keep up the good work!
Nice score on the dime and match safe!! Cool finds!!
Liz posted your channel in her livestream.

Hey want to come to Barstow and dig with me?
Awesome match relic
Excellent video. A good reference guide is "The Mining Camp Speaks" by Sagstetter. When I hunt mining camps, ghost towns and old downtown lots I dig with a 24" Hermit Pick from Bunk’s Prospecting. You can scrape or punch through really hard ground with it. Also put a rare earth magnet on it and you’ll save time getting rusty stuff out of the ground.
Great video Brian, keep em coming!
Keep making videos for us Calfornia detectorists. You represent well.
Nice finds. Great pics! I live in Keeler! It’s only a few miles from your location and I call it a living ghost town! There’s alot of history in this area going back to around 1860s . CERRO GORDO was a silver mine that produced around 17 million at old prices! The reward mine has personal history as my great grandfather used to lease the reward and raised his family there from around 1935 – 1950s! The North tunnel you drove into was done in mid 1980s and I was the last worker to work there in that tunnel removing water and air pipe! No work has been done since!! Did you swing your detector in the mine? as I have found some pretty gold specimens in this area! Also for some reason I have found many pocket watches in the valley too! Thanks again for the vid. You might like a guy that owns Cerro Gordo, his U tube channel is Ghost town living. You would like his vids! Talk with you later!!!
Was that BLM land? Or open land?
I just found your channel congrats on your first video you found some cool relics. I subbed to you.
GOLD NUGGET!!!??? You breezed right over that one. What’s the story? New sub here. Great 1st video.
