Metal Detecting And Exploring A South Carolina Plantation Site

Metal Detecting And Exploring A South Carolina Plantation Site

Billy and I decide to do a little metal detecting at this old plantation site hoping to eke out a few targets from the massive amount of iron in the ground there. It becomes apparent pretty quick that this site has been detected a lot in the past, but we soon discover great finds are close by.

About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my Youtube “Aquachigger” channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.

BTW, you can also catch me here, https://www.facebook.com/chiggsarmy/ ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn’t a place for kids anyway…lol.

Always satisfying to find something good in a well-hunted area. Makes you completely forget the multiple hours spent hearing nothing but trashy tones. Excited to see what you got!

Is there any special reason that I have missed why there are not very many caving videos in the last years? I really miss them, so many caves left not fully explored!

Hey…The oyster shells were used for tabby, concrete, and on top of dirt roads. Shells are everywhere in the soil. Oyster were burned to release the quick lime for the making of bricks…Good luck.
