This was crazy to witness and we also found a few cool things while metal detecting in the woods! Coins, relics, and old silver came from this site!

Uhhhh with the arrow head, I don’t think you can just pick it up off the ground and just state that it’s a thousand years old. Stuff that old would be under a layer of dirt if it had been that long

Well that didn’t go so well 🤣🤣. I’ve been in some way worse places and never freaked myself out. There’s always an explanation you just need to stop observe and rationalize.
I’ve seen people hurt themselves because they got themselves so worked up into a panic. That place was actually quite cool and the workmanship was really unique.

those pictures are of a pheasant.
My mom tells a story about when she was a kid. My grandfather used to explore old abandoned houses. When I was a kid I remember visiting more than a few with him. Anyway, so one time they came across this house in the middle of NOWHERE. No roads around for miles. The house is just sitting in a wide open field. This is in the late 60s. So they walk inside and everything is covered in a thick layer of dust, but is otherwise untouched. She said the table was still set for a meal, clothes in the closets, beds still made, canned goods in the cabinets. It was like they just walked off and left all their possessions there.

The sofas are from the 1970s and the bed with the bookcase headboard is 1950s or early 1960s as I used to have one.

You should go back and check the old piano. The top portion might have a big brass plate that the strings are attached to. The keys could also be ivory.

It’s just an old house and people left stuff. You’re spooking yourself. Probably squirrels or a racoon in the attic. They tore up the mattress for a nest.

Tip: German and Dutch colonial homesteads had a custom they used to insure prosperity, much like the good luck horse shoe on the door. They would bury a small cache of coins in each cardinal direction from the home. They would also place a cache of coins atop the front door lintel when building the home.

However, that house is not 1800s. That is more like 1930s-1950s. The artwork on the fireplace (a goose and a pheasant btw) is post-WW1, and the outbuildings are styled more ante-WW2. Most of the furniture is obviously put in later as it is 1970s or later.
The piano is 40s-60s model (hard to tell due to condition obviously).
Oh, the noises are probably the new residents (squirrels, etc), not the originals hanging around. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen the spirits, and we got plenty in the back country, but likely you just upset the squirrels lol.
