There wasn’t a million dollars worth of stuff in the whole video. Not even half a million. Boooooo.

  4. @doderdo1 on March 20, 2025 at 2:26 am

In Denmark the items is barely antique and could be found in a lot of fleemarkets 😂

No million dollar items here….not even close. Just an FYI the most expensive items ever discovered on the show (both US and UK)

UK Edition: Fabergé Flower – £1 Million (~$1.3 Million)
The most valuable item ever appraised on the UK version of Antiques Roadshow was a Fabergé Flower, valued at around £1 million. The delicate flower, made of gold and rock crystal, was crafted by the legendary Russian jeweler Carl Fabergé.

US Edition: Patek Philippe Pocket Watch – Sold at auction for $1.54 Million and today worth $2-3 Million
The most expensive appraisal on the US version of Antiques Roadshow was a Patek Philippe pocket watch, valued between $2 million and $3 million. This rare timepiece was crafted in 1914 and featured intricate complications, making it one of the most valuable pocket watches ever appraised on the show. The owner had inherited it from their grandfather, who had purchased it in the early 20th century.

entertaining content, but I do not appreciate the AI commentary. Why couldn’t it have been done by a real person?

Interesting; though I found it tough to come to terms with a British English accent, pronouncing "vase" the American English way. Very difficult for me.

Okay, why do you need to narrate though? There are times when videos need it, and times when they dont. Because certain videos will be self explanatory. Like top ten or something and they’ll just fall in line. Like explaining things twice and its annoying as hell

  11. @ScratchyBaws on March 20, 2025 at 2:44 am

The narration is bloody annoying throughout.

That inlaid Thistle table will restore beautifully, there will be some really good colour under the grime, it’s a fine line between not spoiling the Patina but getting rid of the built up dirt and possibly where someone varnished over the the beeswax/ French polishing.

just wonder how accurate the evaluations are…

  21. @mjay4700 on March 20, 2025 at 2:54 am

Title is a bit misleading. As far as I know on the American Antiques Roadshow there’s only been about 4 or 5 "Million dollar" items. The First Phase Ute Chiefs Blanket, The early Baseball card archive, The carved Chinese Fu Dog? Figure and the Gilt Bronze ‘Boddhizatva’. In the show some were valued at $400-500K but when finally auctioned, or in today’s market, they would reach over 1M.

  22. @Porkypies6m on March 20, 2025 at 2:55 am

  23. @marcarturi2137 on March 20, 2025 at 2:56 am

  24. @vinniekay0967 on March 20, 2025 at 2:56 am

Although always fun to watch, ‘the US version of the Antiques Roadshow always come up with estimate prices that are Waaaay out of the ballpark. And often not realisticly correct appraised..
