I live in New Jersey about 8 years ago off Winslow road in the Winslow wildlife management area Zone 65 section near June town. I took my four wheeler from the black horse pike to the Egg Harbor river wooden bridge at about 12:00 am in about the end of December or the beginning of January. I cut the four wheeler off after not crossing that wooden bridge. The motor barely stop clicking extremely fast when I heard a twig break. This shape shifter succubus almost ripped me off my bike if I didn’t start it back up and pop a wheelie I was driving a Honda rancher 350cc four wheel drive. I never encountered anything else like that ever again or before that instance. The succubus reminded me of snow white and had hands with claws attached the size of frying pans "10" or bigger. It was no winged beast or dragon it was a complete shape shifter succubus.
Why with all your smart people is there not a DNA test on that thing that was on the beach that would definitely tell you what it was or if there is even a DNA reference to it at all
I understand this case does have quite a bit of backing but this is the HISTORY channel. Should it now focus only on history and scientifically confirmed events?

These comments from people who’ve seen something in the Pine Barrens are amazing. I understand the wildlife expert’s assertion in this documentary that people not accustomed to wild animals can misidentify them, but to think that all sightings since the early 1700’s are misidentifications stretches credibility. Of course, there’s also the "oh, you saw it, too" factor. Someone says they see something strange, & then every animal sighted becomes a strange creature. Sort of like mass hysteria. Nevertheless, we can’t discount people’s stories, because they obviously have seen SOMETHING which alarmed them. Best I can state is that I’ll never spend the night anywhere NEAR the New Jersey Pine Barrens, ’cause I don’t wanna see something myself.
Ok this monster might exist but it can’t be the only one and even if it’s possible that it was the same monster from the woman that wished for the child to be a devil it couldn’t live for long because the people from the 1800s did shoot it and due to age it is gonna be slow but over all they do exist because an animal can exist with a face of a horse,hoofs,reptilian tail and a pair of wings might be a new species cause how a platypus lays eggs yet it’s still called a mammal.
Is that why the hockey team is called New Jersey Devils?

The human species is slightly more intelligent than most of the other species on Earth.. overall still animals though if you think about it. Smart enough to treat the wounds that other humans caused, smart enough to assign a group of humans to find other humans that are a threat in a variety of ways but still the same group of humans that are assigned to help cause just as much damage as the humans they seek but not smart enough to find peace and acceptance of other species not even your own. Our species are just curious animals, nothing more and it is pretty sad because we are all capable of so much more.. more than you can even imagine and that’s not to be taken likely.

With the modern technology available today, motion activated cameras, even ones with night vision should be set up with the information broadcast to a central monitoring station. When the camera senses activity, it automatically turns on and records any thing in the proximity of it. Since it is said to fly, the camera should be set up on poles ranging up to 20 feet tall. Just an idea

What’s funny is recently in 2022 Russian archeologist found a skeleton with wings that looked just like this jersey devil except it had a human skull. And close to it a giant horse 2.5 meters tall. I guess thats big for a horse I don’t know. Anyhow it’s on youtube.

A call party to flush out the Jersey devil? And during the day, really? Try hunting it at night, its nocturnal and it obviously hides in a den or lair, it hides in tree tops and can fly to remote locations where man cant easily get to. I lived in the area since a child and could told you the hunters never see the Jersey devil when hunting and I lived near a few hunting clubs. When you want someone to really give you a clue where to look give me a call.

I’m a past Jerseyite. We would go camping in The Pineys from time to time. On the first trip, we (a large group of friends) enjoyed doing a little Baha riding through the woods, and shooting off some guns at an old broken down car. We broke into two separate groups for the night about 60 yards apart. Both groups had a big fire going which eliminated each of our campsites. Without notice I saw a man standing on the edge of the clearing, holding a shotgun. I was shocked and just abruptly stood up. My group all turned to see what I was staring at. Now everyone at my campsite was standing and staring at the man. I don’t even know who it was, but it was a male from our group who offered the man something to eat and a cold soda or beer. All the man said was, "Your loud". We apologized ensuring we will be more respectful and lower our volume. The stranger from the woods took two steps backward and vanished from sight. We were all silent at that time and we couldn’t hear a sound from the stranger in the woods. We then noticed two males from the other group were walking toward us, we could hear them. We told them what happened and they were shocked that we left the stranger leave and returned to the woods. How could we stop him? We moved camps closer and we all chose to sleep the night in our vehicles. The following weekend the males from our camping party went back, but none of the females want to go back there. As it turned out the very spot where we camped was closed off by police. From the tree there were a male and female found hanging in a tree, in the nearby pond there was another male in the water. We as a group NEVER went back to The Pineys. The Pineys hold all kinds of Monsters!

I heard that sandhill cranes also live in that area? Those are seriously brazen birds, I see them regularly here in Florida. Oh and they are noisy, too.

I Live in NJ and had my own encounter. I assure you it’s real, the myth of mother leeds isnt, and there are way more than 1. It definitely had a scream like a banshee, could see in the pitch dark, had excellent hearing, was fast, ran on 2 legs, sounded like it weighed between 300-500 pounds give or take, all my neighbor’s either saw or heard it. My neighbor’s up the street saw its wings and saw it fly, I didnt. I chased me after i had heard it 1st, oddly before i heard it my body let me know my raising my hairs, seconds later heard it walking on 2 legs, trudging through about a foot or so of old leaves from as it was just turning spring it didnt Brother to lift its legs so it was very loud. When I stood up and moved 1 foot closer to see if I could hear it better it seemed like it heard me stepping on a twig, because when the twig snapped it stopped walking and let out a scream I’ll never forget and started run fast in what sounded like my direction perfectly so I ran into my front yard into my driveways flood lights. I heard nothing and had grabbed a bat, so I yelled if that’s a person it’s not funny I beat some sense into you so leave, that’s when it started to gurgle and what sounded like a possibility of it actually responding to what I said. At that point I decided I needed something bigger than a bat and ran inside.
I’m sorry but going during the day is pointless especially when everyone said they seen it during the night 😂 what proof will you find? 😅

Again- this life the party that I attended for a friend and her spouse paid for everything. Isadore- its considered in appropriate to send a thank you card to a spouse. Its the spouses role to ensure that her husband receives the gratitude from her for paying for the party. Isadore we dont have money, but the spouse would receive additional loce and care from the other spouse for making all of the arrangements.
the tracks on that roof are rabbit tracks, any hunter that knows anything should be able to determine that. i dont even hunt but i’ve seen rabbits tromp through my yard in the winter enough that i recognized them immediately. how a rabbit got up there, no idea but thats what it is. Each print you see is a combination of both the rabbits back feet and part of it’s lower body, making them look like they belong to a much larger creature.

I lived in sough jersey pine barrens all my life but 3 and 3 of my friends had a sighting when we was teensgers to this day we have no ides what it was. Chassed us threw the woods flying and running . Shaking trees and we left all of our fishing gear on the dock and ran. We came back the next day and the fish we had cough was gone all the gear still left there!!!to this day we have no idea what it was but it shook a pinetree like ive never seen a tree shake
