I think your right, that sounded like a bobcat. They are literally everywhere around my house. Which is why the rabbit population is depleted 😆

Ascutney would be the Weakest Section of New England’s Crust…this would also Involve Ticonic in NY State..which was an Ancient Volcano 🌋

I would love to know the history of this site.

  14. Stephen Elberfeld on October 7, 2022 at 9:09 am

Your not even giving the county makes it more difficult to speculate on these structures. In Orange County there were many copper mines in the late 1800’s where there were actual villages made for the miners to live in. Copper miners from Cornwall were brought over to build shafts and flues from drystone

    Thank you !

Older than modern man. Old Indian structure. We have them in Virginia. The chief here in Virginia led the Indian nation for all Indians east of Mississippi. Their meeting lodges were huge much larger than you would imagine. Your site probable included meeting lodge for most of eastern Canada too.

Super into ancient stone structures of the northeast

  18. Happy Lost Souls on October 7, 2022 at 9:13 am

This stuffs older then you think it is…

  19. Warrington Faust on October 7, 2022 at 9:13 am

based on the size of that structure, it took plenty of people to build it and a significant amount of time. I am surprised there is no record somewhere. Reminds me of being a kid, we found a prefect stone staircase leading down the side of a hill, from nowhere to nowhere. Years later, I was looking at the land with a much older RE broker. He told me that it had been a "German Beer Garden", burned in the frenzy surrounding WWI.

You should think about detecting that place sometime (not the grave area, the massive complex area)

  33. Detecting Downeast on October 7, 2022 at 9:33 am

It’s been some time since uploading this video. Have you ever been able to find out what type of structure those massive foundations were from? Very cool.

  34. Charles Lunney on October 7, 2022 at 9:34 am

Looks like an old Celtic calendar site. Like America stone hedge in Salem New Hampshire.

  35. Angry_Kittie on October 7, 2022 at 9:38 am

At 4:12 that looks like a narrow gauge rail line blown through the rock. They built them through the woods to haul timber and ore out. sometimes you’ll find little timber or stone platforms sticking out along the sides for loading.
    Great video!

  36. Kathy Trumble on October 7, 2022 at 9:40 am

The ruins looks like a very old Fort.

  37. R M on October 7, 2022 at 9:41 am

Did an army of the revolution winter over there and build a fort?

  38. Mike Atwood on October 7, 2022 at 9:42 am

Theres no telling whats hid in those rock walls. Folks didnt believe in banks back then .

  39. michael petersen on October 7, 2022 at 9:44 am

If you ever happen to make a calendar with pics of finds, and interesting stuff like cars, structures ….. I would buy it. My doctors office calendars suck.. lol Waving from the Oregon Cascades !!!

  40. Dank Mazzi on October 7, 2022 at 9:44 am

  41. Suze on October 7, 2022 at 9:44 am

There used to be moonshine run through Vermont at one time.

  45. Andreas Metal Detecting Sweden on October 7, 2022 at 9:48 am

I’d say it looks like a manufactory of some sort? Maybe to do with Iron making? Furnace?

  46. Gregory Lichtenson on October 7, 2022 at 9:49 am

Keep this in mind ! Moantain Lions have been Known to Walk all the way from Wyoming and the Dakotas to New England on several occasions. These are MALES..NOT FEMALES!! THERE ARE AT LEAST 6 MOANTAIN LIONS EAST OF MICHIGAN..

  47. Todd Worman on October 7, 2022 at 9:49 am

Looks like it might have been a fort

  48. MrVtFarmboy on October 7, 2022 at 9:50 am

welcome Glastonbury Vermont. no mystery whatsoever. Glastonbury was the sight of charcoal kilns. the road mostly runs along the old railroad that serviced the village and kilns. the site was abandoned after a couple of floods. no mystery whatsoever and if you actually did some research you would have known this before making this video.

  49. julius caesar on October 7, 2022 at 9:50 am

One of the cars bonnie and clyde stole, used and dumped.

  50. Katherine Buchanan on October 7, 2022 at 9:52 am
