Nash Automobile Bottle Digging Arkansas
Godefroy from St. Louis, Mo…Nothing much today just showing this Hub-Cap that I forgot to Video tape, If you need Video of Nash just ask and I will add to next Bottle Digging Adventure.
The Godefroy is nice. Probably hair dye. Patent date is 1938 on the bottle design, tho it was probably sold well into the ’40s. Definitely a keeper.
Nice godefroy bottle buddy. ๐
I see that snake pic. They are still out. Hasn’t gotten really cold enough to chase them away yet here either. Loved that blue jar and amber bottle. Nice finds!
hmm – as an experiment …if you start hitting lots of little doo-dads in the dump – you should try sifting it…..some dumps are obviously just trash..no small things..but….I found in those dumps where you find little…you know…toys or buttons or small items…..if you sift a little (and its exhausting after awhile – and usually a waste of time) – you do tend to find a few coins or rings or etc……I often thought of taking the loose dirt from a dump – running a strong magnet through it…..to take out all the iron ..and then metal detecting the rest…..might only be worth it for a really old dump….hmm
