OMG! i found a colonial cellar hole metal detecting that's untouched & loaded with finds
One of the best spots I have found all year metal detecting in the woods. This cellar hole is from the 1700s and was the site of an early New Hampshire settler. Almost unable to see this old homesite buried way out in the woods all that remains where the house once stood is a hole in the ground. There is not even a rock lined foundation like most cellar holes. With my Fisher F19 metal detector once I turned it on I was easily finding and digging up relics from the colonial days. Old buttons, spoons, forks, buckles and more were all over the place. To say this site has never been metal detected before was quickly figured out. This is one of the best metal detecting sites I have found all year without a doubt and I was able to make several return trips. You just won’t believe it.

OMG! i found a colonial cellar hole metal detecting that’s untouched & loaded with finds
Did anyone else notice at 8:35 when he finds a piece of iron there is a ring right there at the edge of the dirt. He picked that piece of iron right off it but didn’t see it.
I’ll buy a metal detector to find the time machine misplaced by wife somewhere in our palace😁
It would be great to build a map of all your finds at which locations to try to put together what was there and where it was laid out. All those buckles and buttons, were there clothes stored there? If so, why?
This is true, today is not thursday
really love watching this history come alive
Looks like you found nothing but garbage.
Dmn. Did a house burn down right there….soo many buttons in one spot.
Where is the stash of gold coins 💰
Please let me know what kind of camera, slash software you utilize to make your videos. I would greatly appreciate any input.
Nothing
Doesn’t an agressiive shovel damage some of your finds?
How unusual to find no later nails, jar lids, plow points, as if the folks who discarded the items you found were the last people, maybe the only people, to live there. Please consider showing a lineup of finds cleaned up and edited in at the end of the video. What a cool piece of history to stumble upon.
Looked like a ring at 8:33
With all the buckles and buttons, I’m afraid you’re going to find a naked pilgrim at the end😳
Great video!May I ask what the shovel is and where I can buy one?I’ve never seen one this small before maybe you did it?
Do you always work with Sooty and Sweep?
Why click bait ?
8:33 to 8:34 you can see what looks like a ring that was right next to the “chunk of iron” he picks up, did he miss that?
My mother in law lives in an old house in St. Augustine, FL and I live about 40min away and will be doing some detecting around her property this wekkend. You never know what you might find in the oldest city in the US.
8:33 Was that a ring 💍 that he never picked up?
Love this channel. But you do know you are in a cemetery don’t you?
This showed up in my feed….on Thursday.
I’ve been LOOKING for the side panel of my ummmm…crodle doe!
looks like you missed a ring on 8:35
Did anyone see the ring at 8:32???? Almost pushed it out of the way it looked like.
Looks like you may have missed a ring right at 8:35!
Great find! Excellent job on video 📸
Hi been watching your videos .been thinking of buying one. Could you advise me for a good one and not to dear. And can you go to Hill sided without permission thanks
I swear I see a ring right behind where you found the chunk of iron at 8:33 seconds
Amazing hunt, love the finds! Thumbs up! Just subscribed.
Is this on federal land? If so, this is an ARPA violation. You’re destroying these archeological sites.
Love this video. I love to find old stuff!
Just 20 years any roads will disappear
Great episode! Love this channel…..
You may have dug out an old grave with all the buttons and disturbed ground…,🙏☝️☠️
Very cool, we are Treasure Hunters too! 💎
That’s a lot of buttons and buckles. Wonder if you’re at the shoemaker house …
All I ever find is nails in the last 5 years not really fun
Any advice on a really good detector and wand?
Lived on a military base that had once been both a revolutionary and civil war battle ground site. Whenever my family dug in the yard we’d find something.
I’m watching this on Thursday 😤
I find myself saying "beautiful" after my finds now too. I love that you see beauty everywhere.
Buttons and buckles say that five times fast
i think soldiers lose those buttons when belly crawling.
What was it with those guys loosing Buttons n Buckles lol
Go to exactly 8:35 in this video and pause it. There is a gold ring almost touching your finger that I think you missed!!?
Look close!
You picked up the button but look close!
Do you have any theories on these great finds? I was wondering if someone died there so long ago that their body & clothes decayed but those metals were from the pockets or shoes?
Stupid question, maybe, but could it be you are not digging in a cellar, per se but rather is what was the loo?
What is a cellar hole?
It’s probably because they hadn’t invented Suspenders yet? And maybe that’s why Someone eventually did invent them, everyone kept running out of Buttons & Buckles!🤷🏻♂️🤔🤣👍😇🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
