Pete Daly's Place-Story of $300,000 Plummer Lost Treasure
Story of a few hundred thousand dollars’ worth of stolen gold dust and nuggets buried in Pete Daly’s corral. The two-story log road house was once a stop on the old stage road between Virginia City and Bannack in Madison County, Montana. Known as Pete Daly’s Place, this station later became better known to locals as “Robbers Roost.”

Cool story
Bannack State Park decided to carry the book (Gold West Volume 1) and told me that they used it at Bannack Days when visitors asked about lost treasure.
I’ve found out of 11 different Plummer treasures throughout southwest Montana. An old book I have says before he was hung he said "You have my million in gold , now, ‘ "you might as well have it all, let me go and I will tell you where $300,000 more is buried ." 11 treasures with a value today of almost 50 million.
I see Evident how Plummer could of used soo many people in his plans to use them as a decoy to keep his Sherriff status while control the Vigilanties in raids against the Miners. He had to of had a head Henchman besides Cleveland that knew what all his plans were and relied on those people to help him secretly do things undercover. Each one of his Henchmen had been paid an equal amount and to conceal their identity by disquise. Just how many holdups and Raids the Vigilanties drew upon the group was constant to Plummers schedule being the Sherriff and if and when Plummer was with the group when they Robbed or did hold ups with each raid. To me I see a group agreement to create a secret place where the Vigilanties hideout was and this is where the Gold was suposeably hidden. You realize that his Henchmen did not proclaim there was Gold before they died or made a proclamation to recite there being a hideout or a higher official that was involved to help them create these raids against the miners. I truely believe that there was one Henchman of the Vigilanties that got away from being interrogated by the mob that killed Plummers gang and this individual was living in the Hideout it’s self and had taken care of it since it was his house. I truely believe that this individual got the Gold and knew the Mob had killed all of Plummers gang and therefore left the area with the Gold. I do think that Plummer had multiple stashes of Gold throughout the area from Bannack to Virginia City because suposeably one stash was found by the 2 men that famously came to that area with a big trunk guarding it heavily until they left the area.
The Authenticity of What Henry Plummer said about bringing the men Gold with a fast horse traveling hours time to bring them Gold is just that and just how much truth is behind it. Honestly do you think Henry Plummer would hide Gold for a rainy day and whats his plan to do with it. What your saying to yourself in the end is if he was head of these Vigilantie gang he was only after stealing gold and hoarding it for himself. Where would you hoard Gold an hour away from Bannack on a fast horse? Note to the reader the fastest horse alive could travel 6 to 7 miles in an hour safely. Now think about that. Do you think it’s a quick turn around 30 minutes to get to your hoard and then turn back around to ride 30 minutes back to your captures? I honestly think he produced a story to get his captures by himself soo he could try to escape is my opinion. Truth behind the gold though is what everyone’s looking for. I want true evidence what he said and if he was truthful in his words and actions. In my opinion I believe that the band of Mob was tired of Henry Plummers lies and would not listen to him because of the things he said while he was Sherriff. Henry Plummer was a very dangerous man and this Mob wanted him dead because of his accuracy shooting a gun and hardcore personality to find fault with his enemies.
