Yes very interesting thank you. We find plenty gold here in St Louis on the dead bodies laying around. Just go towards the gunshots!

Hi Kyle, I would like to invite you to join the Show Me Gold Prospectors. We meet the second Saturday of the month in Wellington Mo on the North East corner of the square in the Fair building. We have a great group and have quite a few outings through out the year. We have a few spots we go in Missouri and have found a "Missouri Nugget" or two…

When dealing with clay there is a product called clay be gone it breaks up the clay so you can find the gold I use these products myself when prospecting in Maine and New Hampshire it works great a lot of people think the gold does not penetrate the clay it does this is where you’ll find your bigger pieces of gold

  8. Jose Lopez on August 16, 2022 at 10:27 am

Disolve the clay in a large bucket then slush it, the gold will be there bigger

I agree with Slim3077, There would be Great Gold in the Clay and it would be worth it to get it out and let it soak in water to loosen the clay up, Most of the Gold you are finding on top of the clay has probably washed down with the last 100 years, buy as you know, bed rock was made millions of years ago and a lot of that clay was probably dropped in those Cracks Hundreds if not Thousands of years ago.

I think that it might be good to take a little bit of the clay and process it to see if any gold is in it. One way to do this would be to put some water in the cracks and use your gold sucker to get as much of the sand and gravel out of the cracks. This way you should be able to get the very top layer of clay to loosen up and potentially suck up some good gold! It is a beautiful creek you have to work and I am envious to say the least!

There would be good gold in the clay and at the bottom of it should be bigger gold

I would love to learn how to run a sluice box or just learn how to get gold here in Missouri. I finally after 3 years went to Delonega Georgia and panned gold From Crisson Gold Mine and Consolodated Gold Mine. I now have the fever, I bought some pay dirt from Goldnpaydirt. It was ok not great, not 100% sure have no scales to weigh the gold. I got $ pickers the size of nuggets I bought off ebay for $7-$12. and spent $85. The small stuff was no more than a bag I bought off ebay for $5, so id say no more than $45 from $85 spent. I would love to tag along with someone who knows how to find gold in Missouri. I have next to zero expierence. I live 5 minutes away from the Missouri River. I can’t find and information if by law I can use a sluice box if I buy one unless i’m on private land. I am afraid to buy one and it not have good instructions and I don’t set the angle right and all my gold wash away. Also seems it wouldn’t work on the Missouri any way. Can I bring a battery and a fountain pump and make a sluice box also then a highbanker? I don’t know if these terms are right never been out or know any one who knows anything about gold prospecting. Id just love to be able to find a couple of flakes right here in Missouri. I might just go down and try panning the Missouri River. I have no idea what to try and pan. I guess around big rocks. I’m not asking for anyone to take me to there honey hole. If I could tag along and just learn how to run a sluice box or I think you used a gold hog trommel thing. I don’t know where to buy one around here or if it’s a waste of $. can I make a sluice box from a piece of riffled pipe? I live in Independence MO. I am a couple hours from clear creek. I am 5 minutes from the Missouri River. I would love to be able to go out on nice days and try and find a few flakes but I have no idea what i’m doing. It also seems crazy to buy $1000 worth of gear to find $1.00 worth of gold. If I could tag along with someone and see I can get more than 1 flake in 3 days then I would buy the gear if I could get 10-20 flakes in a day like you can get. I’m not sure also if you spent 2 hours running dirt or if it was 12 hours for you to get those 12 flakes. Thank you so much for your video. I am so happy to know there is gold here and I don’t have to drive 8 hours to Colorado to pan gold. That was my plan for my next vacation. I still may but id love to know how to pull gold here where it’s tuff to get first before I go somewhere where I can REALLY get gold. Id love to practice around Missouri before I take a trip and spend a ton of $ to go out of town. I sat in Delonga Georgia 2 months ago. I was there 3 days and wanted to look for my own gold bu had no idea what to do other than buy paydirt at the mines. Seems now I could have bough a pan and panned any creek and maybe found some flour gold. Id love if anyone could help me out. thank you.

Do you find enough to make a real profit from this or is this a hobby that costs u money? Idk if metal detectors can detect gold but that might help a lot too.
