Today I visit and do some treasure hunting in the Diamond District in New York City and demonstrate how to find Real Diamonds and Gold in the Sidewalk cracks. Treasure hunting in NYC

I think a good way to get rid of the stuff in the road cracks would be to seal the hook to the vacuum cleaner so you can take the stuff out and instantly pick it up. Maybe seal it using metal or just some strong tape. That way you have 2 tools in 1 and you can make the process faster.
Have you tried hoovering the side of roads where the road meets the side walk , i ask because most cars now have Catalytic converters and often spit out valuable metals Platinum, Rhodium and Palladium ..

I think you should invest in a presidium diamond tester that can cost like 150 just to not get to crazy with it. Because the diamond selector one that’s 15 dollars is not good.

Those gemstones and diamonds can be confirm throught hardness testing but they can be synthetic and have much lower value than natural

Just think of what gets washed into the storm drains. The city I live in flushed out their pipes in the downtown area a few years back and one of the workers came into the coin shop with bags of old coins, gold and silver jewelry pieces, and other goodies that he screened out of the muck that was siphoned out of the traps. Always wondered what he missed that went through his screen. Cool video!

This is a great video, good concept (not finished watching yet) but I gotta be honest… hunting for gold and gems in sidewalk cracks and hearing you explain how to do it is absolutely mindblowing. We use to cut mountains down to find some gemstones and minerals, now we hunt the cracks of city streets. That is slightly unsettling for some reason. Love the concept, just feels odd to me (compared to finding natural minerals and gems).
I would suggest you where a fluro jumper, jacket. It be safer as people will you better plus people will just think you are some sort of cleaner, government worker.
