Soooooo hospital hole is NOT near as dangerous as it’s made out too seen in this video and You should check out DIVE TALK reaction to this video too see the truth behind what he is actually saying Bc there is an abundance of false info in this and that is not what needs to be spread. Not bashing Jordan he makes good content but exaggerating is not what people need to hear about something that isn’t that bad. Generally speaking to people who want to learn diving and cave diving and the differences in training and what not.

It’s Hydrogen Sulfide that causes the chemocline in Hospital Hole. It gets more salty the deeper you go. It’s not dangerous to dive. It is named from a local legend that sick and wounded fish go to these strange waters to heal before returning to the sea. Great video. I am binge watching. That’s why the comment is so late.

Just watched a video of a guy who could free dive 800 feet plus. Jordan won’t do 100 feet in full scuba gear 🤷♀️
That blur in the water , happens when salt water and fresh water mixes together . It creates a blurry texture when when looking underwater with goggles

It’s not called Hospital Hole because it’s dangerous. It’s called that because fish supposedly hide in it’s depths to recuperate from illness or injury. See ya later, I want to be one of those kayakers you see in the video. BTW I have paddled my way all the way up to the headwaters (well up to the barrier anyway). It’s a slog to get up there, but with the current it’s a lazy ride back. Go get wet guys.
