Shipwreck! Pirates and Treasure | NC Weekend | UNC TV
The Odyssey Marine Exploration has added much to our understanding of seafaring history, and the inquisitive public can see it all restored and on display at the Greensboro Science Center’s shipwreck gallery. Bars of gold and pirate weaponry adds to the mystique and adventure to the gallery itself, and visitors can even interact with a replica of the remote-controlled mechanical arm “Zeus,” which enables scientists to bring to the surface much of what’s on display in the GSC.
