So, Thomas was trying to get rid of the dynamite, when Sir Topham Hatt sees Thomas, looks like he’s going to blow up Ryan, and then Thomas bumped into the buffers, throwing the dynamite down the hole, causing an explosion under there, and everyone is safe, Thomas saved everyone and Ryan, but Sir Topham Hatt was very cross at him, Thomas tried to make an excuse out of Sir Topham Hatt, but he has quite enough of his excuses, and tells him to go to his shed immediately, and he can stay here for the rest of the afternoon. Suddenly, Thomas’ firebox flared higher into his boiler, making him really angry, and then Thomas yelled at him: “THAT’S IT, I HAVE HAD IT WITH YOU!!!!!!!”, and everyone gets shocked at Thomas, his yelling echoed all over the Island of Sodor, but Sir Topham Hatt heared the yell out of Thomas, he looked back and said “Excuse me?!”, and Thomas shouted: “YOU IGNORED ME FOR THE LAST TIME, AND I WILL NOT GO BACK TO MY SHED!!!” and Sir Topham Hatt shouted at Thomas: “How dare you talk back to me like that?!?!” he yelled, and then Thomas yelled: “HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE FULL PICTURE!!!!!!!” and he echoes all over the Island, Sir Topham Hatt was shocked, he never did such a thing to him! And then Dowager Hatt arrived, and shouted: “SIR BERTRAM TOPHAM HATT!!!” she yelled. Sir Topham Hatt said: “Hi mom, i errr…” he tried to reply, Dowager Hatt said: “Don’t you ‘Hi mom’ me! What did you do to a little blue engine?!” she shouted, Sir Topham Hatt tried to snap back, but he can’t: “But you can’t do that!” said Sir Topham Hatt. Dowager Hatt said: “Yes i can! You will go home immediately for bullying my little blue engine, your only punishment is, you are going to lose weight right now! Let’s go!” she yelled. And then Dowager Hatt took Sir Topham Hatt home, making him lose weight, Thomas was worried, he said: “Why did i get really cross at him?” moaned Thomas, and then Thomas went to Tidmouth sheds, he told about his anger at the other engines in the shed. The end.

This was actually a breath of fresh air considering the season right before this they were doing scenes with topham purposely giving himself a black eye and him bending over and ripping his trousers
Thomas finally snaps.
If sir topham hatt’s mom was there she would not be very happy with him for the way he treated thomas
Thomas: No sir, I won’t go back to my shed!
Sir Topham Hatt: How dare you talk back to me like that!
Thomas: HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE ME OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE FULL PICTURE!!!
(Silents fell around the construction yard)
Thomas1Edward2Henry3: Everyone was silent. No one had ever shouted at Sir Topham Hatt like that. He was very red and looked as if he was about to put an end to the little blue engine when someone spoke up.
Thomas: No, Sir, I will not go back to my shed ! 😠
You tell him Thomas!
Henry: Enough, Trixie! I will not stop right there!
Trixie Lulamoon: How dare you talk back to me like that!
Henry: How dare you scream at me, evil unicorn!
Trixie Lulamoon: (GASPS)

If they wanted this scene to be recieved better, here’s what SHOULD’VE happened.
After Thomas gets rid of the dynamite and everyone cheers, Ryan sees the Fat Controller coming and angrily glaring at Thomas, but BEFORE Topham can scream Thomas’ full name, Ryan quickly speaks up.
RYAN: Its alright sir! Thomas just saved us!
TOPHAM: (caught off guard) Wait what?! I I I don’t understand! I thought……
RYAN: I took on bad coal and sparks from it caused the dynamite to prematurely go off!
THOMAS: (butting in) No sir! Its my fault! I completely forgot about that bad coal and thus forgot to warn Ryan! I didn’t realize this until AFTER it was lit! I had no choice but to toss it into the cavern!
But as Thomas closes his eyes tightly and prepares for verbal impact…….
TOPHAM: (calmly but very firmly) I see. Well the important thing right now is nobody was hurt. Thomas? Get some empty trucks and take the rubble away. Everyone else? Finish up what you can for today and I shall order more dynamite tomorrow. That is all.
And with that, the Fat Controller left. But while Thomas was confused as to why he wasn’t scolded this time, he still felt awful for all the damage he caused and began to feel Ryan SHOULD’VE replaced him. Later after Thomas’ falling out with Sailor John, Thomas took the rubble away and on his way back to the construction site, he came across Knapford, and thought about his express mishap and let out a big sigh of defeat. Then after he overheard the Fat Controller on the phone about how the treasure was kept in the safe, he began to
worry.
TOPHAM: (leaves his office and sees Thomas)
THOMAS: Oh uh…..I was just passing through. The rubble is at Whiff’s wastedump. I I’m just on my way back to the construction site.
TOPHAM: (sees Thomas looking uneasy) You okay Thomas? You look nervous.
THOMAS: (sighing) Sir? Why didn’t you scold me after the dynamite incident? I had already caused enough trouble these past couple of days. You should’ve been furous with me.
TOPHAM: (stopping for a moment) Well to be honest Thomas, I was about to given all that’s happened. But because Ryan told me what had happened, I stopped and listened. Do you know the reason I was extra cross regarding the previous two incidents?
THOMAS: Because I kept making excuses for accidents I know deep down were my fault? (sigh) Like sure, Gordon was teasing me, but I should’ve been the bigger person, or in my case engine, and just ignore him. (becomes more angry) I mean what if there were passengers in those coaches?! They could’ve been hurt because of me!
TOPHAM: (worried) Thomas?
THOMAS: (gets even angrier at himself) Or when I fell into the cavern! I DID find that pirate ship, but ONLY because I was impatient and trying to be really useful, but only ended up being really reckless!
TOPHAM: Thomas?!
THOMAS: (furious) So the only reason I found that stupid ship was because I myself was stupid!
TOPHAM: (firmly) Thomas! You are NOT stupid! Look. Don’t EVER call yourself stupid! (remains civil) The reason I didn’t scold you after the dynamite incident was not only because Ryan stepped in and explained everything, but also because unlike those two incidents, you quickly spoke up and explained how you were at fault because you failed to warn Ryan about the bad coal. You didn’t try to deny that you were at fault. You understood the severeity of that situation and owned up to it. THAT’S the Thomas I know. Cheeky but also mature enough to own up when you go too far.
THOMAS: (pauses for a moment)……..Yeah. (sighs) I’m sorry sir. Not just for all the trouble I’ve caused these past few days, but for ALL the times I’ve let you down after all these years on this railway.
TOPHAM: Its alright Thomas. And I’m sorry I didn’t believe you about the pirate ship discovery til after you were sent to the works following the cavern accident. But hey. Not only did you discover a pirate ship, but you also found burried treasure! Call it a "Happy" accident. (laughs)
THOMAS: There’s just one problem sir. While I was working at the construction site, I met this pirate named Sailor John? He helped me find that treasure. But now he wants that treasure for himself and plans to steal it for himself!
THE FAT CONTROLLER: (firmly) Then we’ll just have to beat him to the punch now, won’t me? Thomas? I have an important job for you! You stay here at Knapford to keep watch for him, while I alert the authorities!
THOMAS: (bravely) I won’t let you down sir. Not this time!
And then the rest of the movie plays out like normal.
Sir Topham Hatt: YES YOU WILL THOMAS! YOU THOMAS ARE AN ENGINE ON MY RAILWAY YOU WILL DO AS I SAY WHEN I SAY IT! DO YOU UNDERSTAND? YOU HAVE CAUSED CONFUSION AND DELAY THE RAILS AND SLEEPERS ARE ALL IN THE CAVERN THE MINIATURE RAILWAY ENGINE TRUCKS ARE ON THE RAILS AND THE TRACKS ARE BLOCKED! YOU WILL PUT RIGHT EVERYTHING YOU DAMAGED!
Thomas: DAH, BLOW ME!!! [quickly covers his mouth as he realizes his mistake]
Sir Topham Hatt: (gasped) Thomas!
Jack: Oh…! You said number 11!
Thomas: [babbles for Everyone to understand] I didn’t mean… you gotta understand, guys, I was trying… what I meant to say was… some things just slip out. You gotta understand!
Eddie glen’s voice suits Thomas very well in my opinion.
I mean that’s Sir Charles Topham Hatt in this movie.

This was actually the point thomas really screwed up earlier and topham was furious with him then he screws up majorly again twice in the same day. So when topham sees an explosion and thomas at the scene can you really blame him for being so instantly upset I think I would be too in this scenario
