South Carolina Legends- Episode 3- Strange Tales from the Pee Dee- Part 2

In this two-part episode, Darlington Branch Youth Services Librarian Mrs. Drew and Darlington Branch Manager Michelle Wallace head out to several locations in the Pee Dee region to investigate local myths, legends, and strange tales.

Part 2 sees our hosts on location at several storied spots with tales you are sure to find interesting, if not a little unsettling. Most locals are probably familiar with Bingham’s Light, but have you ever heard about the elephant “rampage” in Patrick SC? Or maybe the Witches’ Tree in Hartsville? Our brave hosts ventured out to investigate, and in one instance it seems that perhaps some paranormal interference occurred!

Join us as we dive deeper into these South Carolina ghost stories.

Because of the frightening nature of this program we recommend viewers be 13 years of age or older!

I live in NC and I have relatives in SC and I’ve never heard of witches in SC

The stories are good, but your locations are a little bit off. I grew up in Hartsville and now live between McBee and Patrick.
