I don’t understand this trend of using present tense instead of past tense. Voice-over does it a lot in this series.

How is it they can see the metal cannons with their radar and not the gold assuming they using equipment to do and these days I’m sure they are

  16. @nicolasrodrigo9 on December 14, 2023 at 8:33 am

With today’s sonar technology it is way more accurate and easy to find wrecks than in the 80s. Multi beam sonars are like ecographies of babies. Love it!

Suddenly having explored only 5% of the ocean don’t seem bad.

The day we know 90% of our ocean, is likely us reaching doomsday 😅 I don’t see much value in these history in exchange for shaking up our seabed/creatures…and there have been increased ‘reasons’ to interfere the ocean.

  20. @davidfalensbirth2031 on December 14, 2023 at 8:35 am

I have never understood why gold is valuable you can make things look exactly like gold so who cares if it’s real or fake as long as it looks like gold it does not matter it’s not like it makes you healthier to have gold on you so what is the reason why the world wants you to think that gold is valuable when it absolutely isn’t

I provided a factual and elaborate explanation of my experience as party in Odyssey Marine Exploration vs Kingdom of Spain and my entire account was censored by Youtube or National Geographic. I guess they want you only to read their version of history. What a shame!

All these comments are the same, but none say anything about the government once again taking massive amounts of treasure/money from the people that found it.

  39. @TheCrazycrab2 on December 14, 2023 at 8:54 am

Wow they find nearly a billion worth and yet it’s not enough, mustn’t stop until every ounce of treasure is recovered. What next? The addiction continues, good luck chasing that dragon lol.

You know what I think would be the coolest thing to have would be a gold chain from that period just enough to go around my neck that would look like a choker but hang just a little bit more than a choker

  45. @sreevimal-4766 on December 14, 2023 at 9:05 am

Nat geo is so irresponsible that they are draining every part of the oceans for their videos, have some pity on the fishes. Where they would go..

I have watched most episodes.. but this one hit my rights to ask about the heading of the episode.. why talk about hidden treasures.. rather rewrite as stolen treasures from India by the world
