In this video I take you on a “virtual” tour hiking the trails of this beach, with awesome views and landscapes that seem to be from movies.
This beach is recognized because of its natural beauty, but that beauty is also found walking the trails, the 30 minutes it takes to hike from the parking lot to the beach are minutes full of nature and serenity, its a path that transports us to a different world thru a path in a beautiful forest.
This beach is located south of Gold Beach and to the north of Brookings, in the Samuel H Boardman State Scenic Corridor, a section of beach dedicated to Samuel H. Boardman the first superintendent of Oregon State Parks.
I hope you enjoy the video, making it was an experience that lasted a few days because I had problems with my microphone, but it was definitely worth it 100%
Until Next Time!
Maybe catch that shot at 9:00 and just record. Without camera shot sounds or dog face or voice over lol. It is beautiful, I could watch that all day.
god i wish i had people to do these hikes with, i donโt know anyone who loves these things as much as i do. i would pay someone to take me through oregons waterfalls ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Such a stunning video, I love it so much!! Do you happen to know what the tide was when you went? I only have one day to make it there next week since I live out of sate, but I’m worried that it won’t be negative tide..it’s about 0.5 low tide at 5am according to the tide charts. Can’t wait to see this place you so beautifully captured!
Love this video, nothing like living on the Oregon Coastโค
If you visit Secret Beach, don’t miss Natural Bridges Cove, which is just north.
Astounding quality on these videos. well done
Just another great video wow !!!, if you could in the future do a video on the filters & accessories you are using would be very helpful to a lot of people Thanks Charles Cheers
They are going to destroy this area with undersea marine cables and wind turbines. Good luck Oregon.
Wow! You went ‘down and around’ to get to the beach access. We walked straight, briefly and got onto that large rock formation and scooted down on a minus tide day. Today we live in Todos Santos, Mexico; but then, we lived in either Winston or Coquille, OR. We watched for that minus tide and and went for it. Was really fun! THEN we had to get back up that large rock formation, back to the short trail to the car. We are in our 70s. The only way I could do it was scoot back up on my butt, backwards to the top. My arms were really sore the next day. I’d show you pics, but I’d have to search for them. Enjoy, Everyone!
Beautiful pictures. Iโm having a hard time finding that trail you were on. Can you tell me where are you parked off the main coastal Highway to walk down?
Thank you, great video.
what day and time did you go where not a lot of people were there?
In my videos I talk about downloading alltrails to where your going. I didn’t think we’d have zero reception in this area! The path you took was so cool. I was so lost and relied on ppl guiding me where to go. This place is truly amazing! I put a filter on my drone and regretted it when I reviewed the footage. You are very good with a camera! You where able to capture the beauty of this place so well. Fantastic video
Great shots, love your work. BTW how long does it take to hike down to the beach?
This is where the father and 3 kids fell but dad died saving them
I saw pictures of a this place on instagram a couple of years ago and put it on my "dream list" of places I’d love to go…I live in Michigan, so I honestly thought it would stay a dream and never actually get to do it…BUT my husband and I have made plans to visit next month!!! I can’t believe it and I’m so excited. I really appreciate your video because it shows what the hike to the beach will look like. and it makes me more excited for my husband because that’s the style of hiking he likes, is the woodsy, mossy kind of trails and I’m more of the awe-inspiring scenic views. So it will be a perfect mix for both of us!! One question I have is, are there signs that point you down the trail that you took to get to the actual Beach area? And if not how would we know which trails to take to get us to that specific Beach area?
Those pictures are breathtaking. What do you do with Bambi when you are in dangerous areas? Love the peacefulness in your videos ๐๐
Wow, very very beautiful video! ๐๐๐Thank you!
Cool vid buddy, what editing software are you using? Youve got some sharp looking transitions and whatnot.
Thanks and maybe I’ll see ya around SW Oregon.
Growing up in Medford we went to the coast often, between gold beach and Brookings is some of oregons most spectacular coastline.๐
Do you live here?
