Sometime between 2009 and 2010 an 80 year old man by the name of Forrest Fenn trekked out into the Rocky Mountains and hid a bronze chest filled with over $2 million dollars worth of treasure. The secret to the location of the treasure is contained within a six stanza poem. Forrest Fenn’s treasure, as it’s come to be known, has captivated men, women, and children around the country and world and has lured many people to the Rocky Mountains in the hopes that they’ll find the gold.

Forrest Fenn was a con artist and a scumbag. TTOTC was a fraud. A fraud that got at least 5 men killed. The whole thing is disgusting.
Yeah I knew where it was early on…..couldn’t afford to go find it. Fenn wasn’t that hard to figure out. He was dying. He put an arrow head that was sentimental to him in the chest. A dying sentimental man with the clues. It was pretty obvious. The location itself was a gift as well. I was told it was found already.

"It was under a canopy of stars in the lush, forested vegetation of the Rocky Mountains and had not moved from the spot where I hid it more than 10 years ago. I do not know the person who found it, but the poem in my book led him to the precise spot. I congratulate the thousands of people who participated in the search and hope they will continue to be drawn by the promise of other discoveries."

I read the treasure map and I’ve come to the conclusion people have zero reading comprehension skills while I don’t exactly know where it is I can pin point the radius it would be in. People have died and wasted years of their life because nobody taught them to understand context clues 🤦♀️
