What is the best protector for parks beach and field for under 1000?
Born August 14 1961. Hello from Ottawa Canada! Buying a new Vanquish #440 on Wednesday this week. Am an " old school Tesoro Analog Guy", this is quite a "step up for me ". Previous videos you were using the Vanquish, not anymore?
I am 62 planning a metal detecting trip to the World Famous Prince Edward Island beaches in early June.
What would you recommend for " footware on the beach? Not steel toe boots as they can interfere with the detector.
What’s a good setting on the Vanquish to do the sand. ?

3 Days ago the weather guy here in the Portland Oregon area said we had broken the record for the wettest January with 5 days still left. Not best for detecting
Did you notice that beach was shifted heavily by special machine that catches 90% of items in loose sand. You have to go were they cant.

I run 40 kHz field mode sensitivity as high as I can get it lower my tone break to 10 awesome for small gold such as 0.24 g which is less than a quarter gram on the beach!

Make sure you rinse your scoop with fresh water after each hunt. The weld tend to rust.
