I remember growing up in Phoenix in the early to mid 80s and hearing about the lost Dutchman’s Mine before moving to Utah. I had completely forgot about it until now, thank you for unlocking and then explaining that memory.
I believe either floods or seismic activity had obscured the entrance to this mine. Just my opinion

There is a large land mass that is shaped like a heart. If you can find it on Google Earth, you can see where there is a bunch of rock dug out from it that is a different colored granite like there was once a lot of material dug out. This mass matches the heart shape on the peralta maps. Try and find it😊😊😊
