Iβve done the same with my claim on the Fraser just up from Danβs, except I donβt chance the pan and instead throw a rock. Never been disappointed and have always got lots of gold, that is for a pan.
As a kid, you can pan for gold at Knott’s Berry Farm and leave with a little vial of gold. YOU ARE SO COOL

Which Hardware Store Has The Most GOLD In Their Sand?
Do you ever pan in Colorado? I live in Breckenridge and Iβm certain Iβve found gold, but itβs all specks and dust. I use Jet Dry to make it sink, but I donβt know how to separate all of it from the black sand. If you have tips on panning for very fine gold, like we have in Colorado, Iβd love to hear them!

Yes there IS gold everywhere however, it is in concentrations too low for viable commercial extraction. It would cost far more than the gold is worth to extract it.
