Treasure hunting Florida trash February 2, 2023

Today was a beautiful day to pick trash. The weather was perfect. I had to go early but found people had put stuff out ahead of schedule and there were some surprisingly nice items.
One of the best items that I failed to show in the video was a beautiful white sectional couch. It looked like it was leather. Very clean and I couldn’t find hardly anything wrong with it.
There was also a very tall square metal lamp that is shown in the video. It needs some lampshade paper replaced but it was in excellent shape and very unique design.

Once again I found some photographs someone had thrown out in the trash. A couple of albums. They were fairly recent. I’m not sure why I have more sympathy for the older black-and-white photographs than the newer color ones. But I do.
There was also a photo album full of maps of South Florida. Street maps. This was before GPS and Google maps.

Today I took home an almost new folding cane, a box of hardware, new and in perfect shape, a snorkel, some work goggles, and an orange glove.

Last week I must’ve come across a dozen lampshades and this week. None.
I am out of shape. Bicycling for an hour made me have to stop and rest. When I got home my heart was beating very fast. I need to exercise more.

Today’s video was an experiment. I know people’s attention spans have gotten a lot shorter so I tried to make this video a lot shorter. I do think the video needed more photos of trash and less video of the neighborhood. Also, if the music went on much longer. I think it would give people a headache.
However, I was looking to find something that was a background ambient sort of music with a rhythmic repetitious beat to it. Similar to pedaling a bicycle. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Speaking of bicycles the crank on my bicycle appears broken. There is a large crack where the pedal attaches. Also, the main bearing in the crank assembly is worn out and wobbly. I need to find out how much it will cost me to replace it. Probably more than I paid for the bicycle.
By the way, this is not a girl’s or woman’s bicycle. It is a folding bicycle and prefers to call itself a folding bicycle. Please do not be dismissive of my bicycle’s life experience and choice of identity.

Thanks again for watching. I really appreciate it.

Not many people know this but YouTube now allows viewers to leave a tip by using the thanks button below the videos on YouTube at least on some channels.

In addition, I have an Amazon affiliate link, and anything that people buy anywhere on Amazon after they enter Amazon via my link Jeff Bozos throws me a few pennies.

At least until he can get robots to start making YouTube videos and posting links for him. Don’t laugh. The robot YouTube video content creators are just around the corner.
You better appreciate Robb’s homemade life while you can.

some viewers like to see the stuff I have bought and liked on Amazon in my Amazon store.

The soundtrack sounds like that Russian radio station that beams info to their spys all over the world.
The little plastic case looked interesting.
It had a lot of stuff in it.

That mixer board! As long as it wasn’t out in the rain, I would have grabbed that. That cane was for sure cool too.

Robb, I had to turn off the sound track. My pineal gland was trying to push through my forehead in the form of an eye. Next time , just say no. Or add more layers.✋😖🤚

I found the music relaxing, almost meditative. Loved the shadow bike shots and the upside down pedal shot. Trash is always interesting and makes me a bit melancholy. The same way I feel watching those abandoned places videos. Everything was fresh, new and wanted once.

How do you find your way home, where all the houses look exactly alike?
