Treasure Island housing gives domestic abuse survivors second chance
Domestic violence survivors are getting a a second chance at life through a first-of-its-kind housing program here in California. Sharon Chin reports. (8-11-22)
Where is the nonprofit program for the people that have not been incarcerated at work every day and still need help with month-to-month rent I mean treasure Island is good for everybody if there’s a program
Her house is probably where my brother’s office once stood when Treasure Island was a naval base.
She killed the taxi driver she was robbing, not her boyfriend. And were supposed to call her a victim while paying for her apartment, utilities and college?
I thought she killed her abuser but she instead robbed and killed a hard working taxi driver and now she’s free and get to live till old age enjoy life travel the world while the deceased productive member of society she murdered is 6 feet under for the last 31 years. This is not justice. London Breed got her out so she’ll get more vote.
Wow! Rent free, smh…and I’m working 65 hours a week
I hope this program is also open to men that are abuse survivors. Because men are abuse survivors as well.
That’s awesome! These women need a new start! Hopefully along with counseling and group therapy
