I use to live in Mesa i the scrap place I bring batteries and heavy metal 20 dollars batteries heavy metal 30 cents a pound then being back bottles to circle k can back to a machine all together about 100 hundred and maybe more and eat at hospital in air conditioning and get cans from them and add 30 dollar more

Your dealing with a dealer with horrible ethics. Not one scrapper channel has mentioned that a scrap yard treated them badly. See nothing with going where the best price for the goods is. Now if both scrapyard businesses treat you badly, then it is time to figure out if there is an axe to grind or what. May be it is better to collect only items that give better prices. Or, collect, process and store, then haul further away. Like your idea to make contacts with maintenance at complexes. Just better keep that dolly if they start telling you have to move the water heater from the third floor!๐. Be safe drink water with electrolytes and keep salty pretzels to munch on.
