    I’m not an oyster expert or anything, but those looked necrotic.
    Just my personal thought, seems it would be easy to plant the pearls in dead oysters and lightly glue them together for the "opening". People feel like they’re lucky and it’s a "cool experience" so they are more likely to buy the jewelry to put them in, since apparently you have to get the jewelry to keep the pearlsnyiu just so happened to "find".

    Each one has at least one pearl. We got to choose one for free which had 2 pearls but we couldn’t get it unless it was turned into jewelry. That was at the market in Honolulu by Waikiki Beach.

    There’s tools out there to extract pearls without killing the clam or oyster 😂😂
